Step into authentic Downeast Maine living at this charming Cape-style waterfront home, once owned by Walter, a lifelong commercial lobster fisherman. Today, his son continues the tradition of welcoming guests to experience the beauty, culture, and rhythm of a working fishing harbor.
Set directly on the water at Petit Manan Point, the home offers sweeping panoramic views of the open bay, distant islands, and an active lobster fleet. From the deck, watch colorful buoys drift across sparkling waters as boats travel in and out of the harbor throughout the day. The setting captures the essence of coastal Maine—evergreen-lined shores, open ocean, and a harbor that remains very much alive.
Guests can relax to the natural sounds of the shoreline, seabirds, and working boats. In the evening, the distant flash of Petit Manan Lighthouse adds a memorable touch to the horizon.
The home features three bedrooms (two upstairs and one downstairs) and two full bathrooms, with one on each level. Inside, you’ll find ash wood floors throughout and a full kitchen designed for comfort and function, complete with custom ash cabinetry, granite countertops, and high-end appliances. A spacious porch provides the perfect place to take in the ocean air and experience the sights, sounds, and atmosphere of the coast.

This was our second stay at this beautiful waterfront house and will not be our last!The home is great and has a fantastic kitchen - perfect for those fresh lobster dinners! Our host was very easy to communicate with and very friendly - made us feel right at home. The location of this home is perfect - close to a lot of great things to, but secluded and quiet as well. Highly recommend!

This was the second time I've stayed here. Last time I had invited two other couples. Unfortunately they were unable to come this time. So myself and my husband came alone. My favorite place in Maine to stay at is this location. Thank you for another Magnificent vacation.

Beautiful rental. Responsive hosts who even delivered lobsters! Great area to beach walk. Throughly enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed.

This house was decently spacious but rather dirty and lacking a few things. The pros:Rooms were large, especially upstairs. You could easily fit an extra air mattress in either room upstairs if needed to accommodate kids. The kitchen was also large and decently stocked with cooking supplies. Safety issues:There is a large, centrally located staircase that is extra wide and steep. There is no baby gate at the top or bottom and we found this to be a massive safety concern with our toddler. If you’re bringing littles, you’ll need an extra wide gate as a standard width won’t cover the staircase. There are virtually no coverings on any of the windows. It’s lovely during the day, but at night I’d prefer to draw the shades when downstairs for safety and privacy. There’s a small fishing shack right out the front window that is occupied occasionally and they can sit there and watch your every move. If I was booking this as a girls get away I would NOT recommend for safety reasons. The Cons:The house was very dirty. We spent a good hour going through and knocking down cobwebs and cleaning up spiders. The floors on the first floor were filthy and definitely in need of a good mopping. We tried to do that but the mop was put away with disgusting water in it and the smell was unbearable. The lack of blinds or blackout curtains in the bedrooms. If you don’t want to be up with the sun by 5, you’ll want to pack blackout curtains to keep that and the security light out front out.
