Watch the sun set over Pamlico Sound from Treasure Chest, a welcoming upstairs one-bedroom retreat made for two. With a king bed, private screened porch, full kitchen, and access to the sound-side shoreline, it’s an inviting place to slow down and enjoy Ocracoke together.
As part of the Ocracoke Harbor Inn Cottages, your stay includes access to the Inn’s waterfront facilities on Silver Lake Harbor and complimentary boat docking at the Inn for boats under 35 feet, with advance notice at the time of booking. Golf carts and bicycles are also available for rent at the Inn, making it easy to explore the village.
Inside, comfortable furnishings and coastal touches create a relaxed setting for your island getaway. The living and dining area offers space to unwind, while the full kitchen makes it easy to prepare breakfast, pack a beach picnic, or enjoy dinner at home. DirecTV and complimentary Wi-Fi keep you connected during your stay.
The bedroom features a king bed, and bed linens and bath towels are provided. The apartment has one bathroom and accommodates a maximum of two guests. Treasure Chest is located upstairs and requires stair access.
Spend your mornings with coffee on the screened porch and your evenings watching the changing colors over the sound. A gas grill is available for meals at home, and sound-side shoreline access offers another place to enjoy the water and sunset scenery.

This was our first time to the island and it was amazing! Byron was great to work with and the Treasure Chest is a gem!!!! We met so many nice people including Sharon a few doors down. We will definitely be back! Thank u so much!!

There were a few specialty things that we use at home and will probably bring next time, but most kitchen items were available.

Had a lovely time at the Treasure Chest. Rental was just as described on site. Host, Byron, was extremely helpful and quick to respond. Had a great VACA on the island.

Really enjoyed the layout and water view! Clean and bed was good! Only giving a 4 because there was only 1 plate, a few pieces of silverware, etc. there was coffee, but no cream or sugars. I would recommend staying here, but bring everything if you plan to cook at all.
