This apartment was amazing! Everything we needed was in the apartment, it was clean, and it is in a great location with many beaches just feet away along with shops and restaurants. The hosts and help desk was also very helpful

The location was amazing and the kitchen was fully stocked for all your cooking needs. The unit was supposed to have a washer dryer, but it recently broke; however the host was willing to get our laundry professionally cleaned for us which was nice of them. I will say that the road in front of the unit was very busy and loud, so if you’re a light sleeper, I would recommend turning on the AC unit and maybe wearing earplugs. Also, if you leave the lights on in the evenings, bugs swarm to the area. Nothing harmful just annoying and fairly common I believe but if you don’t like bugs, be warned.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. The rental was just OK. It is an older building, so you can’t expect everything to look new. When we arrived, we found that there was no washer or dryer, as advertised. A message was sent & the reply said that a message was sent to me saying the washer/dryer was not available. Due to coming from out of country and having some phone reception issues, I’ll give the benefit of the doubt, but I couldn’t find this message anywhere. We were given the option to have someone pick up our laundry, clean it, and return the same day or next day. As someone with rentals, there is an expectation that something like this is either repaired or replaced right away. The rental was superficially clean, but could definitely use a deeper clean. Air conditioner in the secondary bedroom was very loud when the compressor would kick in, even while using earplugs. Difficult to get a decent sleep. Worst part was the amount of bugs throughout the property. They progressively got worse throughout the week we were there. The final night there were literally thousands of them all over our clothes, bathroom supplies, and any food that was on the cupboards or on top of the fridge. One of the most disgusting experiences I’ve had in a rental. We had to vacuum them all over every night, and eventually sprayed insecticide to the worst areas. We expected to deal with bugs given the moisture Maui has received, but no one else we talked to had a bug problem like us. Unable to recommend this property.
