About this house rental
The Frink Beach House is located in the private gated community of Ocean Isle West. The property spans from ocean to sound so has gorgeous views of water on either side along with sunrise on the back porch and sunset on the front. There is a private pool with slide and jacuzzi tub and a dock leading directly to the ocean. The house is spacious (all bedrooms are large) and has lots of windows including skylights in the main living room. It has an open design with plenty of room for hanging out inside and outside. There is a separate apartment underneath the main part of the house where a family could stay and have their own privacy. The apartment consists of a bedroom, bathroom, living room and bunkbeds with a kitchenette. There are balconies off the 2 oceanfront bedrooms upstairs and a full back porch that covers the entire back of the house and overlooks the ocean.

I HAVE to say that this experience from beginning to end and overall was absolutely amazing and left us wanting more!!! Checking in/ checking out was a breeze, the house had all we could need and more. Our family loved the location, the back dock and the beach walk way. Truly one of the best vacation experiences anybody could ask for! The pool was clean, spacious, perfect for a medium to large family. The kitchen was fantastic with plenty of room to cook and entertain. Rooms were spacious and the bottom apartment was extremely nice as well! We look forward to experiencing this again and will try to book this house yearly (it is our first choice moving forward)!!!! Absolutely in love with this place!

The house was so spacious. All the rooms were large and quiet; once you go to your room, you don’t hear any noises from the living area or other rooms. My extended family went and we all felt like we had plenty of privacy in our spaces. The view of the waterway from the street side living room was such a beautiful bonus. My family would hang out in that room to talk and we loved all the windows to see the waterway. The pictures don’t do enough to show how spacious the two living rooms are and connect to each other nor the wonderful views. Also not well illustrated, are the two seating areas heading toward the beach. The first area is a large covered picnic area with lots of seating and shade and great location to see the beach and ocean. The second spot is at the end of the walkway that stops right on the beach with built in benches. It was the nicest walkway compared to all the others around us. We sat there the last day and tried to take in some last minute moments looking at the beach. The kitchen is dated and though the cabinets could really be replaced, the appliances are new and it functioned just fine. We’ve stayed in OIB dozens of times and the location near the point (so amazing at low tide!!!) and the view of the waterway make this house more unique than the others. There’s also plenty of parking. We didn’t need all the spaces, but we liked having both our vehicles in the garage and out of the sun. The pool was great. Overall, a wonderful family vacation.

This house was perfect! We have a large family with 4 children and 1 grandchild, and we all wanted to stay together. The house had plenty of space for all of us, plus a few friends and my mother-in-law. It was spacious and beautifully furnished and the beds were very comfortable. The private dock across the street on the sound provided to a of enjoyment with fishing and even a local friend came to see us on his boat. The beach was great! Plenty of space and privacy if wanted, and if it got a little windy, we would just go to the pool. The wind didn’t hit us at the pool and there were plenty of chairs and places to sit. Aimee was quick to respond and very accommodating. We can’t wait to go back!

I want to start by saying we enjoyed our stay and the location of the property/outdoor features (like the pool and sound access) immensely. However, the house itself was very poorly maintained. The cleaning done before was arrived was subpar. We found dead insects on the floor in multiple areas, hairs in the bathroom sinks, the couch had crumbs on the cushions (right on top, not down in the cracks), shower curtains were stained/dirty, pillows had large stains on them. We had to do a light cleaning when we arrived, which was disappointing.
On top of the cleanliness, things were just poorly maintained. The dryer didn't work properly and required a load to be ran 3-4 times in order to be dry. The A/C for one of the upstairs bedrooms didn't work at all, and when we reached out to the property manager they said they'd send someone first thing Monday - but no one ever came. A lot of the furniture was dated. Overall, it just isn't the quality of rental we are used to getting for this amount of money.
