Die Gastgeberin Danisia war immer ein guter Gesprächspartner und hat mich kulinarisch täglich verwöhnt.

This was my first stop in Santo Antão, and such a great landing. Danisia was so friendly, and the welcome was very warm.
The location is brilliant. My bedroom was right next to the ocean, and I fell asleep to the sound of the waves. Pombas is a beautiful small town at the bottom of Paul Valley.
This is an excellent base for exploring the best of Santo Antão, Paul Valley hikes, Sinagoga Beach, buses to Ribeira Grande, and connections to unmissable towns like Ponta do Sol and Fontainhas.
You’re within walking distance of really nice restaurants, banks, shops, and the centre of a beautiful, peaceful yet lively small town.

La struttura è ben posizionata e collegata se si vuole fare un giro dell’isola. Danisia, la titolare, è stata sempre gentilissima e disponibile a darci consigli, nonché a organizzarci il rientro verso il porto. Colazione super, ogni giorno ci proponeva qualcosa di diverso! Consigliamo fortemente questa struttura!

L'auberge O Recanto est un établissement de quelques chambres, occupant le premier étage d'un petit immeuble et tenu par une seule personne, d'une extrême serviabilité, qui nous a préparé d'excellents petits déjeuners, à base de produits locaux, dont des aliments sans gluten (un délicieux "couzcouz", à base de farine de maïs), et nous a donné, en français, d'excellents conseils sur les randonnées, les restaurants et la vie locale. La chambre et les sanitaires (un par deux chambres) sont simples mais d'une grande propreté. Merci Danisia!
