Mountainside Inn is Telluride's most affordable property, conveniently located along the San Miguel River and just 200 yards to lift #7!

*Please note: Parking in the town of Telluride is a growing issue. Mountainside Inn parking spaces are limited, and permit availability is first come, first served. We strongly encourage you to consider one of the many local shuttle options in favor of driving. Should you choose to drive, and use one of the Mountainside Inn Parking Permits, there is a $20 per night parking fee. If there is no Mountainside Inn parking available, you may need to park overnight in one of the local paid parking garages.*
The Mountainside Inn is located along the San Miguel River in the heart of Telluride. It is comprised of four separate buildings, all of which are two floors with stair access (no elevators). Rooms may face the river, mountainside, parking lot or a neighboring building.
This kitchenette room provides you with a two-burner cooktop, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, and the pans and dishes you need to complete any meal. The queen bed and twin bed are all in the same room. The bathroom has a large exterior vanity area and a step-in shower.
Complimentary wifi is included. A well-stocked vending machine and coin-operated laundry are located on the property. There is no A/C at the Mountainside Inn.
The Mountainside Inn is just two blocks from the grocery store, and about a 10-minute walk from historic downtown Telluride. The river trail offers a delightful path through town, and the free in-town shuttle picks up about a 1/2-block from the Inn.
Please be aware that your room number may differ than the one on your reservation confirmation. The Mountainside Inn reserves the right to move reservations to a comparable room without notifying the guest.
This room is dog-friendly with prior notification and a $30/night fee. Pet fees will be charged at check-in. Two dog limit.

We added additional people to our trip last minute and the owner was very accommodating. He worked with us to find a location that would better suit our needs. The upgraded location was amazing and we look forward to staying again in the future.

"Warm and Cozy" describes this property. It was about as small of a space you can put 3 people in. The kitchenette was too small to actually cook with, but it was fine for reheating left overs and light meals like cereal. Also, it doesn't have air conditioning and we were there over 4th of July when it was unusually warm. The room fan helped, but it was still too warm to be comfortable at times.
On the positive side, the parking was close (city lot right next to the property) which is rare in Telluride, the property was clean and well kept, the beds were comfortable and the location was good. It was available at the last minute for 4th of July, but I wouldn't stay here again unless it was at a different time of the year.
