Vesuvio House

The apartment was great and extremely comfortable and spacious. All the furniture and amenities are in top condition and it is all setup in great taste. The AC worked very well and the kitchen was left with all the essentials to cook a meal, including cleaning supplies. The hosts were extremely kind and arranged to book the parking next to the apartment in advance (5euro/day). If you are coming by car, the parking spot is highly recommended as the neighbourhood has narrow streets and it is not obvious how you would otherwise park nearby. We stayed at the apartment to facilitate our visit to Pompeii, which is a short drive away; location was ideal for that.

I think a car is highly recommended to get to and from the apartment. There is not much nearby that can be reached walking.

Difficult to find a supermarket

Good size and terrace. Location is good for pompeii, best with a rental car for everything else.

The shower was awful, hardly worked, the bigger shower was blocked probably by limescale. The water was either cold or burning hot. The floors didn't seem mopped and there wasnt even a mop available to do it ourselves. We had to buy kitchen cloths to clean the kitchen, the fridge and cupboards were filthy, as was the terrace door. I don't understand how it can be given to guests in this state. The sheets seemed clean but there were a few spots of dirt. No cupboards to hang clothes and only 1 towel hook next to shower. Basic necessities that could easily be fixed if the owners bothered to or cared even a little.
