The location was really wonderful. Close to public transport, and great to walk around the area. The view from the top of the building was phenomenal! And fortunately there was an elevator to carry us and our bags to the floor, which was a godsend after so many stairs.

Trying to use the shower was difficult due to the multiple knobs, and the seal of the shower door wasn’t working well so it often made the bathroom floor very wet. The bedroom and bathroom doors were all frosted glass and made it difficult to ‘feel’ privacy, even though you couldn’t see much through them, and let a lot of light in. There is an automatic light in the hallway which turns on sensing movement, making it difficult for people to go to the bathroom without alerting everyone else in the property. Also all of the power points were old-styled, so none of our power adaptors worked except for one location, which was the kitchen.

Rue un peu bruyante

Although Antonio tried hard to provide what was advertised, he could not deliver. The unit is advertised with a washer and cooking facilities. The washer did not work, to get the stove to turn on you had to turn the gas line on and off, not a typical gas stove. To his credit he offered to do our laundry, but that is quite. personal. He did pay us the 20 Euros to do two loads. It was truly a major inconvenience of our time while on holiday. He was hurried when we checked in at 6:15, we could not get there earlier due to the train schedule. When we arrived after a long day of traveling and could not get a taxi outside the train station, we walked 20 minutes in light rain. He asked us to sign a two page document. I have never had to sign a two page document, I briefly read it but noticed something about gas leaks and when he explained that we had to turn the gas valve on and off to get the stove to work. It made us fell very uncomfortable signing a document that would put us and maybe the unit in jeopardy. He did give us money for coffee each morning. Just another inconvenience. We booked a home experience, after being on the road for 6 weeks, we wanted to do laundry and cook at home.
