It was a nice home with classic design elements, very spacious with plenty of room for a family of five. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. The little patios were nice to sit at drinking morning coffee or in the evening watching the sun go down. The home was located right off the main shopping district, and it was easy to get to the waterfront and pier. It was also close to Old town Salerno, which was a beautiful place to explore. Access to the train/bus station was an easy walk down through the shopping district.

The apartment home is a bit dated and needs some repair work performed. The kitchen counter was broken, which made it so the dishwasher couldn’t be closed and the cooktop was not level. Several of the doors were out of alignment and need to be adjusted. The bathroom shower drained poorly, so you ended up wading in the shower.

Very noisy location. Limited parking anywhere close.

The apartment was in an amazing location close to the train station, beach, restaurants, and the historic center. The owner was incredibly attentive to our needs and we had a genuinely good time getting to know him and practicing our Italian with him. He gave a wonderful restaurant recommendation in the historic center that was the best meal of our stay.
