About this cottage rental
Located right on Lake Ontario. It has a terrace and is right on the water. This Cottage is 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. There is an extra pull out bed in the living room. Located 1 hour from Niagara Falls, which is great for kids and families. There is a famous Light House one mile down the road, at Golden Hill State Park. Lots of water activities in the area. There is an Amish community and store nearby and very peaceful.

Check in was easy, Lucille provided instructions in a timely manner that made using the rental very easy. The property made been newly refurbished and was in excellent condition, it was absolutely delightful! Kitchen was well stocked and had almost anything a chef might need.

Sunsets and sunrises were awesome. Cottage is roomy and comfortable and Lucille is a great host.

We enjoyed being in a beautiful location. The lake view from the windows and the backyard were incredible. The cottage was adequately stocked for basic cooking. The living room was spacious with plenty of seating. The door frames and window ledges were full of dead bugs. The tablecloth had crumbs on it from a previous stay. We were hoping to be able to swim. The owner said we could swim at our own risk, but upon arrival it was clearly unsafe due to big rocks and no easy access to the water. Our kids were disappointed.
During our stay, we opened the bedroom door and realized the top hinge was broken. We kept the door propped open for the remainder of the stay and were charged 80 dollars to fix it after we checked out.
Overall, basic cottage with no swimming access. Cleanliness was fair. Unfortunate experience after check out being charged for opening a door that was clearly already broken. We would not stay in this cottage again.
