About this house rental
Beautiful South Lake Tahoe home location in the Montgomery Estates Area with a large upper deck and hot tub, pool table and many other amenities! Please note NO parties are allowed at this home. If you a planning a birthday, graduation, bachelorette/ bachelor party this is not the home for you.
This is gorgeous 2,900 plus square-foot home in a quite residential area. There are four bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a loft that has a pool table, darts, bean bags, futon, kids’ toys, etc.
Amenities include a large, private outdoor NEW hot tub on the upper deck also where the BBQ is located. Another large deck that connects two of the downstairs bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed, bathroom has two sinks and a large counter, a separate shower and a deep soaking tub with jets. Two other bedrooms with 1 queen bed in each room, and the 4th bedroom has a queen bed and a double (great for a family). Fully stocked kitchen with all top of the line appliances and cooking utensils and all cooking and baking supplies.
There is a large formal dining area with seating for 8. Spiral staircase leads to the loft area that has the pool table, darts and toys. The spacious master suite has a king bed, Wireless Internet and 3 Tv’s in the home are all ROKU streaming TV’s.
National Forest right across the street offers great hiking and mountain biking trails to Power Line Trail. Three minutes to Heavenly, 5 minute drive to Lake Tahoe and 6 minutes to casinos. (Note we have a 2-3 night minimum depending on the dates!) Can't forget the endless windows in the living room that bring the outside in and offer great lighting in the home.

Nice location and clean property. All items were in good working order and hot tub too! We enjoyed all of the amenities that were offered. The Pool Table is dated and needs to be replaced in the future but overall fun to use. We had a great time!

The property has lots of potential, but the visit has lots of small annoyances. The property itself is large and a really nice common area. It does not have AC which was a problem both on 90-degree days and in bedrooms very close to a busy road. The bedding is really old and should be replaced. There are also cobwebs in the corners. One tv was probably bought in the 1990s.
We werent convinced the owner is committed to being a host of guests. The property is peppered with messages of dos and donts. There had to be 5 no smoking signs in every area. The owner has a release in his contract letting you know that you might being filmed on a security camera and details out a list of fines for various things- adjusting the temp on the hot tub, touching the thermostat, extra bags of trash and more. One annoyance was the instruction to leave and put away dishes in the morning with a 10am check out.
It all created an unnecessary stress on a group of clean and good intentioned adults.
The house could be fantastic for a few thousand with new tvs, purging the granny furniture, a couple of window AC units in the summer, and new bedding.
