'Crows Nest' Like being at the top of a tall ship, panoramic Pacific Ocean views! This beautiful comfortable FOUR bedroom, two full bath home welcomes 8 guests. Fully equipped with fresh linens, towels and a washer/dryer.When you walk through the gate a gorgeous garden greets you with flowers, herbs, buzzing hummingbirds, bird bath, picnic table, chairs and a Weber Grill all await you. Enjoy our large deck view of rolling hills behind you, watch a full moon come up, or enjoy a nice glass of wine on a starry night. No neighbors to the North, just some happy California cows and their calves grazing the lush sloping green pastures down to the sea. Got bucks? We do, big antlers/horns and lots of deer, fawns, foxes, bobcats, and bunnies. Just a 5 minute walk down to the beach an array of seabirds, shells, beach glass, seals, seagulls, driftwood, starfish, and tide pools all waiting for you to explore. Walk through the front door and it feels like home. Big family room with high ceilings, leather couch, comfy chairs, wood burning stove, 65" HGTV, large picture windows! Formal dining area, updated gourmet kitchen, cookbooks, large selection of pots and pans, tea, coffee, cream, and sugar provided. Upstairs are three bedrooms with great ocean views, and a full bath. sitting area with recliner a built in couch with big colorful pillows, huge bookcase full of good books, surely something for everyone to enjoy. Stunning views of the garden below and rolling hills. The master bedroom is downstairs with it's own full bath, wood stove, awesome ocean and pasture views! Local attractions and favorite places include, golfing, shopping, horseback riding on the beach, surfing, sports fishing, biking, kayaking, galleries, local wineries, candy and kite stores, great restaurants with locally caught fresh seafood! Arriving for the holidays? A beautifully decorated tree with lights, perfectly placed ornaments and decoration throughout this home gives it a very warm and festive feeling. Enjoy!

We had an amazing time. It fit multiple families (5 adults, 4 kids, 2 dogs). There was plenty of seating and rooms to spread out in where we didn’t feel like we were crammed in. The kids (age range 7-14) loved the loft area. The ocean views were absolutely amazing through the large windows. The downstairs king bedroom had a spectacular view. Nice neighborhood and streets to go for a walk. The cows were fun to watch in the mornings. There was a large grassy area outside the garden for the kids to play. The garden area was fenced in and perfect for the dogs. All the amenities we needed were at the house. We would definitely stay again.

We booked this property for a weekend getaway with friends. We just wanted to relax, chitchat and explore the local cuisine. Property wise, no complaints. Clean, quiet and private surroundings, with an occasional visit from deer, quails and llamas… With regards to the host, Mia is very, very responsive. We appreciate you, Mia. Thank you. The house was just as pictured, but the pictures do not accurately show how great the courtyard is . Perfect for sitting outside and plenty of room for everyone . The house is spacious and well stocked . Plenty of towels and extra linens and the host was easy to reach and attentive. Perfect location close to food, beaches and a short ride to see the big redwoods . Bonus was the pop-up baked good stand in the neighborhood. Looking forward to booking again !

The home is a beautiful example of coastal architecture and the views inside looking out are stunning. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us, kitchen was well equipped, plenty of extra linens and comfortable sitting areas. The outside patio area was beautiful and a good place to enjoy morning coffee. We enjoyed the visiting wildlife as well.

Nice house and great yard with good secure fencing for a tiny dog. Nice outdoor table with a big shade umbrella. Nice comfortable beds and bedding. Easy walk to the beach. Kind of uphill on the way back but a good work out! Really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet neighborhood.

The Crow's Nest is a beautiful home with lots of character-gorgeous huge windows to appreciate the coastal view. I had a group of friends stay here for a weekend and it was magical. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, pans, utensils, etc. We saw lots of wild life around including a large hare and fox!

Wonderful house big enough for my whole family. We had a wonderful time here the kids loved the big lawn out overlooking the beach. My corgi loved the garden as did all of the rest of us. The fact that it was fenced was specially wonderful for the dog. The house is wonderful. It even has an upstairs living area. It’s very roomy and very beautiful. Mia is a wonderful person to rent from. She’s very helpful and kind. She makes sure you’re comfortable. The kitchen has all great too. It has most all the things out at home in it. It’s a very amazing place. We loved our whole trip there! Wonderful ! Might be best Thanksgiving ever! Everyone also got along!.

This peaceful property is located near Bodega Bay with easy access to several beautiful CA State Beaches. Also close to Bodega Bay for hiking Bodega Head and dining Terrapin Creek (delicious). The house is well equipped, cozy and relaxing with a fun collection of eclectic art. It has a nice outside furnished patio with a view of the hills (and ocean if you stand).

The Crow's Nest met all of our desires! It is a very spacious, clean home with great views of the ocean. You'll get perfect sunset viewing on a clear day and it is walking distance to a beautiful beach. We loved hanging out on the enclosed patio and walking the neighborhood with our dogs. We had a wonderful 3 night stay. The property is exactly as shown in the listing. It was nice having the master bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor as it made staying here comfortable for my 89 year old grandmother. Would definitely recommend for a quiet family getaway.

We really enjoyed the stay. The house has fantastic sunset views, lovely yard and is very conveniently located within walking distance to Portuguese beach. This helped us not deal with the parking challenges during a busy holiday weekend. Mia (the host) was very responsive and helpful. We would certainly stay there again.

We stayed at Crow’s Nest for 3 nights and 3 days and it was wonderful all around! Mia was very responsive (even before we booked answering a plethora of questions). The home itself is an authentic coastal home with spectacular views and lovely grounds in a safe walkable neighborhood very close to innumerable beaches. We mostly ate at the house (because we didn't want to leave), but if you choose to venture out there are good restaurants available and a wonderful winery just a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope we get the chance to visit again in the near future! Heather

We keep returning to Crow’s Nest each year because it is the perfect place for our family. The house is large enough for all of us and all of the amenities. We enjoy hanging out in the peaceful backyard with our dogs when we aren’t at the beach.

We had a lovely stay. The home is spacious and comfortable, with lots of different areas to hang out in. The views from a few of the bedrooms, living room and dining room are fantastic. We enjoyed breakfast in the enclosed front garden each day, before the wind kicked up in the afternoon. Lovely walks right outside the front door.

We enjoyas of first moment that we arrived home at Crow's nest in Bodega Bay. Property manager was wonderful every step away and home offer all what was offers as of day one I have found for our family vacation stay. We are planning to refer the home to our family & friends and be back as well. I would like to give 10 + stars to all great stay & organisation that we experience here. We took our (mostly) adult kids and their partners here for a weekend celebration of my 60th birthday. What a sweet, peaceful place this was! Mia was easy to work with in booking and arranging logistics, and everything was as advertised. It had plenty of room for our large group, with a well-equipped kitchen and nice bedrooms. We gathered around the large dining table for meals and card games, played video games on the living room TV, enjoyed fires in the woodstove, BBQed burgers and steak on the grill, and enjoyed seeing wildlife out the windows. One morning, a bobcat was wandering the field behind to catch gophers, and we got to watch and take photos for quite some time. The beach was an easy walk, and the neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. Thank you, Mia!

Stayed here with extended family of 5 adults, 4 children (ages 4–7), and 1 dog for Labor Day weekend. Communication with Mia was easy, instructions for entry and checkout were clear. House was as described, clean and appropriately sized for our party. Might have been a bit tight if the kids were older. Neighborhood was cute though foggy most of our stay. Fun to see deer and wild turkeys wandering the area. Kids loved the nearby beaches, which were a very short drive away, and it was easy to get to Bodega Bay for groceries/restaurants. Russian River destinations also within range. No complaints!

We enjoyed a long weekend for a family reunion at Crows Nest a couple of weeks ago. Our son & his girlfriend stayed with us & family staying elsewhere visited for dinner. While seemingly small, the house is so artfully constructed there is lots of room for a group. The kitchen is very well stocked! The view of the ocean & sunsets are lovely. One of the best features is the fully fenced courtyard with flourishing nasturtiums. I enjoyed my morning coffee & watercoloring at the table outside & the young people played games there in the evening. The home is clean & comfortable. We hope to return soon. Mia communicated with us promptly & patiently answered our multiple questions. She was always accessible & helpful. We had a delightful stay in Bodega Bay at the Crows Nest! Gini Bellettini

Fits our family’s “Sheldon-like” standard for cleanliness. The surrounding yard was perfect for our grandkids age 3, 5 and 8. They played tag, flew kites climb the huge Cypress tree through a tunnel of branches and stargazed at night. The quail family was entertaining as well as the gophers that popped in and out of the holes. Proximity and beach access definitely a big plus. We did find 2 bathrooms challenging when we had all 7 adults sleeping overnight during one of the nights. Overall a good and cozy place for 3-4 night stays.

Our family of 6 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 baby really enjoyed our stay. The photos of the house are accurate - the house is dated, but clean. It was very comfortable and enjoyable. We didn’t experience any major issues, and we communicated with the host when we needed anything. Our dogs also enjoyed the house. The view is wonderful, the kitchen is well stocked, and the fenced in patio/yard was great for the dogs/toddler. We walked to the beach at the end of the road multiple times. We hope to come back soon!

This is our third family vacation at Crow’s Nest. We had a wonderful time! Love the fenced garden area for our dogs & hanging out. Updated kitchen is beautiful and has all we need for cooking. Plenty of space for 8 adults and a large indoor dining table for us to gather. Short walk to Portuguese Beach & a quick drive to other beaches & Doran State Park. The property is quiet & private. Mia is a responsive host. Looking forward to next year!

I enjoyed the feeling of nature all around. I saw deer, lots of birds, two turkeys that displayed their beautiful feathers and quail. Cattle were usually grazing near the house in the mornings but the field is very big and they didn't stay in the area long. The patio is so nice. A picnic table with a checkered blue tablecloth and the largest nasturtium leaves I've ever seen. Thereis a long-range view of the ocean from most windows but walking to the beach for me was a problem because one had to walk on the road going down and coming up would have been too difficult for me. My grandson had no problem. There are plenty of dishes and utensils and places to get away from each other. It felt very private there. It is a close drive to many nice beaches and restaurants.

Renting Crow’s Nest helped make this one of our best family vacations. The views out of every room were amazing and the home was so warm and inviting.
