About this apartment rental
Gorgeous apartment located on an upper floor of Playa Azul I, a 22-story beachfront condominium located in sunny Luquillo, Puerto Rico. Featuring an 18-foot wall of louvered glass spanning its width, our spacious 523 square foot studio frames a stunning panoramic view of the Atlantic and is cooled by refreshing ocean breezes.
The apartment is smoke-free and impeccably maintained. The studio features high-quality appliances (including Bosch washer and dryer), furniture, and fixtures. Ceiling and standing fans, combined with a cross draft, provide cooling comfort (there is no air conditioning).
Sleeping accommodations were upgraded in January 2026 to include a queen Zinus 12-inch Green Tea Essential memory foam mattress, a full 9-inch futon mattress, comfy memory foam toppers, and Lacoste 100% cotton bed linens.
If you are traveling with friends and/or extended family and need more than one booking, we also own and rent the neighboring studio (listing #204353).
Playa Azul is a gated complex that is steps away from beautiful Playa Azul beach. Inside the complex you will find tennis and basketball courts, a pool, play equipment for kids, and a clubhouse. A grocery store, drug store, gas station, bank ATM, and several restaurants are all within walking distance.
The condominium's location in Luquillo is ideal for exploring the eastern part of Puerto Rico. The El Yunque National rainforest is just a few minutes West on Route 3, and Fajardo, with its bioluminescent bay and ferries to the islands Culebra and Vieques, is a few miles east. Shopping in old San Juan and at the outlets is a modest 20–40 minutes drive. Several championship golf courses are located at nearby resorts within 10 miles.

Sandra was an attentive host from the beginning. She was quick to respond to questions and very pleasant to communicate with. The condo was clean and welcoming. It was the perfect home base for our stay...even when the weather outside put a damper on our plans. I would recommend this condo to anyone...you won't be disappointed!

Beautiful studio apartment overlooking Playa Azul. Great swimming, surfing, dining. Friendly people, close to airport. Loved our visit to PR. Highly recommend this property!

Love this location as rent a car and most things want to see or do are close by. Or just lie on the beach, cook your own food from nearby grocery store and relax. Beach towels, chairs, and washer and dryer make it all very easy.
