Relax and unwind in a comfortable 3 season alpine chalet overlooking a private, sandy beach on a calm, quiet pond. Swim, fish, canoe or hike to waterfalls on the many wooded trails around this pond. Read a book on the hammock or enjoy stories and s'mores around a campfire on the beach at night. The enchanting sounds of loons and ducks can be heard and you may even catch a glimpse of a moose or beaver!
Grill your dinner and eat outside on the deck as you watch the brilliant colors of a sunset over the pond and mountains beyond. Play card and board games and challenge a friend to some ping pong fun.
Experience a relaxing, adventurous Maine vacation at the chalet and bunkhouse on tranquil Proctor Pond. Waterfront chalet features a first floor bedroom w/ 2 twin beds next to a full bathroom. Upstairs has a double bed, newer 1/2 bath bath down the hall & a primary queen bedroom with many closets & cathedral ceiling . The separate bunkhouse has a twin & double bed, couch, coffee table, bureau & new small refrigerator plus a large closet sized room.
At the 100 ft. sandy beach is a stone campfire, huge picnic table & shed with new various-sized life jackets, paddles, oars, sand pails/ shovels & inflatables, etc. Many lounge, beach chairs & small tables on the sand for all to use !!

A wonderful family vacation with all we were hoping for - good fishing, a nice swimming area, wonderful sunsets in a very peaceful setting.The chalet and bunkhouse worked out perfectly for our family. Susan was very accommodating and communicated well.We hope to return.

What a wonderful week we spent at Sue’s chalet on Proctor Pond. Our 5 grandkids 13-9yrs fished, swam enjoyed s'mores in the evening on beach and hot chocolate mornings on the patio over looking pond. Plenty of room for all of us to spread out in the chalet and the cute bunk house which 2 of the kids chose to stay in. We would not hesitate to stay in this summer rental again. Susan answered every and all questions we had.

We had the most amazing week at the chalet! The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer and dryer were very nice to have. The bedrooms weren’t ideal for traveling with young kids (ours are 2 and 4), but we made it work. There is a downstairs bedroom with two twins, and two upstairs loft rooms where you have to walk through one to get to the other and both lofts open to the rest of the house with a short railing. The 4th bedroom is across the driveway in the “bunkhouse” which is an adorable space with twin bunks, full size bed, and a couch and fridge. The bedroom set up wasn’t completely clear to me from the listing, but it ended up working pretty well for us. There is also an awesome patio, grill, and deck at the house.The best part of the property by far though is the beach area! Big, sandy, private beach with three boats, shed for storing beach gear, and plenty of chairs, floats, life jackets, and sand toys. The water was warm and clear and there are only a handful of houses on the pond so we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We spent all day, every day in the water. It was perfect for little kids and adults. We were all sad to leave and can’t wait to return!
