Lovely accommodation and would have been perfect if pool and WiFi were functional.

The accommodation was lovely and rooms were very clean and comfortable. It over-looked a lovely garden and lake. The owners were very pleasant and only spoke French (which made me speak French and not be lazy!?). We had a lively picnic by the lake.

Unfortunately the swimming pool had gone green in the hot weather and was not really usable (although we did risk it!). The internet was also not working so no WiFi, and no TV either. I have an 11 and a 13yr old - so these were an issue. There was also no instructions on what to do on arrival and I ended up nearly joining a neighbours party to get entry to the house. The house was in a residential area so there was some noise from the party next door until late - but this didn’t bother us too much

A warm welcome and a lovely place to stay!

We received a lovely, warm welcome and stayed in a beautiful, spacious room. It was well-equipped with a kettle, coffee machine, a good TV, and excellent WiFi. The host was extremely accommodating and made us feel very comfortable. We will definitely return!

We enjoyed our stay overall, but unfortunately, the experience was impacted by a lack of sound insulation between rooms. We could clearly hear conversations from the neighboring room, which made it feel like the guests were in our own space. They were also quite active early in the morning and late at night, which disrupted our rest. It seems there’s a significant soundproofing issue between these two rooms that could really benefit from improvement.

Very agreeable overnight stop on a journey south.

Excellent setting beside trees and lake. Secure parking. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very good dinner, and excellent breakfast (very moderately priced).

Petit coin de nature

La chambre au calme avec vue sur le parc. La literie très confortable. La proximité avec le centre-ville de Tours et les châteaux. La baignoire avec vue sur l'étang.

Impossible de profiter du coin salon à cause de la chaleur. Climatisation efficace dans la chambre, mais n'avons pas pu ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer.
