This home is in a neighborhood convenient to activities in and around Hood River. Although an older home, the kitchen and bathrooms have been remodeled. It was comfortable for our four-night stay.

After two years of planning our vacation in Oregon finally came true. Our first three days in Hood River did not disappoint. This house was the perfect location to explore downtown and easy access to return to after each day of adventure on the Fruit Loop. Very comfortable for relaxing in the evening and for a leisurely breakfast while planning our itinerary in the morning. All amenities were just as described with comfortable beds and beautiful surroundings. Homeowner was quick to answer any questions and easily accessible during the whole process.

The house was great, very clean and everything you could need. Not really walking distance to downtown but was still good location. Can walk to 2 local coffee/breakfast places. Patio was nice to sit outside for breakfast or late night. Would stay here again if I ever came back to Hood River.

Our family of four had a great time in this beautiful home! The place was spotless (I wish that I could hire their cleaners!). Kitchen and bathrooms looked recently renovated as everything was in tip top shape. The kitchen was well appointed. I appreciated the many extra small details like having an electric water kettle, plenty of dish clothes, reusable containers for leftovers, shelf space in the master bathroom., air conditioning on when we arrived during a heat wave. I highly recommend this place!

The house was very nice and in a quiet neighborhood, but close to downtown businesses for shopping and dining. It has a great patio for enjoying a beverage after a day of exploring the area. Lots of trails nearby for hiking. Great waterfalls on old Hwy 30 to hike to as well.

My wife and I, along with a close friend, were looking for a quick summer get-away. Little did we know when we made reservations, that we'd be in the midst of the pandemic. I communicated with Kay and was assured that good cleaning and social distancing protocols were in place. We were careful, wore masks, and never felt unhealthy. Check-in was easy and the house was neat and clean. It's nice that the two bedroom house also had two bathrooms. We very much appreciated that the house had air conditioning as the weather was in the 90's and even hit 100 one day. The wifi was good, and the TV had Netflix so we watched a few movies during our stay. We didn't go into town, but drove the Hood River Fruit Loop then up to Timberline Lodge for a nice day trip. We ended the day at a couple wineries where with social distancing, we were able to safely sample great wines. We brought food so didn't have to eat out, and the kitchen and appliances are fine for our cooking. There was a grill, but we couldn't find any charcoal, so our steaks were cooked on the stovetop. The patio and pergola outside provided a nice, shady retreat. The neighborhood was fairly quiet. Our friend went for walks each morning and was able to walk to the rural section of town near one of the wineries we had visited. All in all, this short weekend trip was what we needed after being secluded for months.

This home was perfect for our family of four. It was an easy find from the interstate, and close to a lot of things in town. We walked a lot, which compensated for our less than stellar vacation diet. We could get to a couple cool parks, breakfast places, and the aquatics center was right up the street. It was a great home base for us, as we were home most evenings for the kids earlier bedtimes. It was super comfortable and clean. The Millers did a great job providing amenities and a nice place to stay. Small touches like frosted beer mugs in the freezer do not go unnoticed! We will be back!

This was our second trip to Hood River-we love driving the fruit loop! This house was super cozy and easy to get in and out of, which was a big plus for my senior mother who has a little trouble getting around. Enjoyed the WiFi and tv. It’s close to downtown, but in a nice quiet neighborhood. I wIsh it had a coffee maker, but I did learn to make french press, which I got pretty good at.

Close to the grocery store, but does require some driving into downtown depending on where you’re going, a bit hilly. The WiFi did not work for anyone in our group for some reason, but we didn’t really need it, so not a big deal. Owners were responsive to any questions. Quiet neighborhood. This is our 3rd stay at the Miller home, and we've loved it every time! It's a very relaxing retreat with lovely modern amenities. I especially enjoyed the temperature-controlled bathroom floor, and the easy-to-follow instructions on how to operate the TV/DVD player! The location is perfect, as that it's only a 2 minute drive from downtown, but far enough away that there isn't a lot of traffic. It's in a very quiet neighborhood. I have a HUGE appreciation for whoever does the housekeeping, as the home has been VERY clean every time we've stayed. My new favorite find downtown is Arome, where they sell hand-blended teas, flavored cooking oils, and flavored vinegars, which you can sample! And as always, I hugely enjoyed breakfast at the Egg River Cafe! Kay is always pleasant to work with. She's friendly and answers emails promptly. I would HIGHLY recommend this lovely retreat!

Well stocked kitchen - learned how to use a French press and the beans were amazing. The two full baths were a hit. Also a great location - we like to be a little out of town, but just close enough for a quick trip to it. TV was easy enough to connect to. Wi fi worked well, always important.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is central to everything Hood River has to offer with easy access to parks, shopping, and the downtown core. The open plan and tasteful renovations made this house a pleasure to stay at, and the A/C offered much needed relief from the heat while we were there. We will definitely book again next year.
