About this house rental
This 1898 landmark property offers comfortable accommodation for groups of up to 12. Located in the heart of St. Andrews, steps to the Old Course and the best restaurants and pubs in town. Tail End, The Seafood Restaurant, Dunvegan Pub and many others are within blocks of the property. New 75” TV and tartan bedroom carpets. 1 Murray Park has a renovated living room and kitchen. The kitchen, dining and living areas open up into one large great room. You will find this space to be among the nicest in St. Andrews for a traveling group.
Please note that due to high demand and reservation cycle terms are 50% deposit on reservation, balance due six months out.
With full kitchen, dining and living rooms, you can relax and enjoy your special trip in comfort. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and be set up with two twin or one super king bed. You have the privacy of individual rooms along with ample common space to relax and enjoy when you return from your golf or sightseeing adventures.
For groups preparing meals it’s an easy walk to Tesco Supermarket along with specialty shops like St. Andrews Wine Company. Taste coffee shop is located across the street. Balgove Larder is a short drive away for the finest local meats, cheeses and prepared foods. Restaurants with a wide food variety are available in an easy 1-10 minute walk.
You will be greeted on arrival by a basket of provisions in the kitchen to get you started. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with pots/pans, spices and equipment to allow both self prepared and for chef prepared meals.

Perfect accommodations for our golf party of 8. Walkable to everything. Courses and market and main street pubs and restaurants. Clean, and well stocked, kitchen very capable for full meal cooking. Awesome jumbo flat screen in sitting area. Local host Andy made everything easy at check in and out. Will be back.

Eight of us came to play golf in the St. Andrews area. The property is fantastic and also in a great location near anything you could need for food and entertainment. It’s also very close to the St. Andrews Links courses and easy for cabs and cars to find for courses outside of the city. We had a great experience from booking to check out.

The Appartment is beautiful and really like the pictures show. Great location at one of the main streets „downtown“. Our experience was mixed as we enjoyed the location as well as a friendly welcome by the property manager.
First thing we noticed is that the radiators were not functioning and it was „chilly“ so we needed full golf outdoor equipment to wear not to get cold. Andy (the property manager) tried to find the failure but it took 3 days to get it work!! ...that,s kind of uncomfortable. As well the fridge was not working and after 24 hours they could arrange a functioning (but brandnew!) one. Than the old one was stuck in the Appartment as it was too big to move. Finally the third day that was handled. Andy, the property manager, was extremely helpful and tried his best. He mentioned the owner would be fair and will take care of us „ afterwards“ - in fact he did not at all.
Our recommendation would be to check all systems in the beginning of your stay and inform VBRO if anything is not working. Heating and fridge are substantial!! An appropriate fair financial treatment (advised by management) was finally not provided at all.
