We stayed here while visiting for the Tortuga music festival. The location wasn't very convenient for that due to the crazy long lines to take the water taxi at the end of the night (we're talking an hour wait). We also got rained out that night, but were able to rent a couple of bikes to get back.
We stayed pretty much on the beach a couple of days before. At the other spot, the location was great, but that room was sticky due to humidity. I would choose to stay here over the other location due to comfort and cleanliness again and again. Really a nice place. I think location would be better if we weren't there during unprecedented flooding.
This host was awesome at communicating. We were able to check in extremely early for extra convenience!
The only complaint I have I there was only one regular coffee pod for 2 people staying 3 nights. (I didn't communicate this to the host though.)
I would definitely stay again and recommend this spot!
