Apartment was super clean and short walk to beach access. Necessities provided for beach…chairs, wagon, umbrella, towels, floaties and even cooler. walking distance to several restaurants and the French bakery. Property manager and owner very responsive to questions. Great stay!!

As we walked in the door our first impression was good. The place is cuter in person. But as we walked around the place to get settled in we noticed a few things things that didn’t set well with me. The first thing was in the bathroom. There black oil/grease on the toilet. Not just the lid but the seat as well as under the seat. There was also oil on the bathtub and on the toilet paper. We were told a few days later by management that there was some plumbing work that was done right before we arrived. When I told her about the oil/grease her comment was, “well that should explain it”. She did not apologize but blew it off. During the time of that conversation I also mentioned that we only had one dish towel. There was no dish cloth or sponge for washing dishes.
It took her an additional 24 hours to get two dish towels to us and still no dish cloth.
Although the tone and attitude she had during our conversation was unprofessional and rude, I let it go because after all, I’m on vacation and having a nice time with my husband.
A few days later I noticed that we were running low on toilet paper and texted management and asked if we could get an extra roll to tie us over. Her first response was that the toilet paper we had already received was “complimentary”. Then she said she would look for a roll and try to bring it by but it wouldn’t be until later. Really?! That was ridiculous. Again, it was all in the delivery of her text. In all my time of coming to IRB I have encounter this rude kind of treatment. Maybe it’s because I’ve always dealt with the actual host and not management.
Because of the poor management I will not be returning there.
