Historic District Garden Apartment With King Bed and Patio

The apartment was in a historical building so an older place but was clean, in a safe area and appropriate for 2 people. There are restaurants near by but the majority of restaurants/bars/activities are 1 miles away. Walkable for some people but also kind of a hike to make 2 or 3 times a day. Although all the reviews said the parking was easy, we did not have that same experience. There were a couple nights we had to park on a different street due to it being full on Jones. It was a holiday weekend so that might be the reason. There was another issue that unfortunately we couldn't find a work around. The cleaning supplies used in the apartment were overwhelming. The smell was so strong, we had to wash our clothes before wearing and again when we got home, even if not worn. I appreciate it being cleaned, but the cleaning company needs to find an unscented version. It wasn't just the first day but hung in the air all week. I don't want this to deter people from renting this place as it was a nice place, again just want to make people aware if you are sensitive to smells. My guess is that the rental company uses the same cleaning company in all their rentals so you may want to request fragrance free cleaning supplies when renting from that company.

This vrbo was perfect for a short getaway to Savannah! The apartment was exactly what we needed. When we got there the place smelled so fresh and clean as soon as we walked in. It had everything we needed and so much more!

Amazing stay, we absolutely loved it! Perfect size for the two of us. We really enjoyed the outdoor area!

Great location, quiet neighborhood, close to shops and restaurants. Bed and pillows were not that great. The sheets had hairs on them and the sheets in general weren’t comfortable. The living room couch was not comfortable and they could use a bigger tv. Overall, it was ok.
