With a brick, wood-burning fireplace as the centerpiece, this entire room will feel warm and toasty on a rainy day!

Around the corner from the fireplace, the open kitchen and dining areas await. With updated stainless-steel appliances, gorgeous wood cabinets, and plentiful counter space, the kitchen is welcoming to chefs of any caliber. Two bedrooms are located on this level, each with a comfortable queen-size bed, and there's a full bathroom with a jetted tub and two sinks to avoid too much waiting in the morning or evening.

Downstairs is where the fun begins with a game room, wet bar, and gym facilities, all with similar panoramic bay views! The game room is spacious with a pool table, foosball table, various seating areas, and even a wet bar with five stools to pull up. Test your skills on the tables or play some tunes on the piano in the corner - there's space for everyone to have a good time down here.

Down the hallway, you can get a good workout done with an elliptical, treadmill, free weights, a bench press, row machine, punching bag, a yoga ball, and an all-in-one training system. You can even stay entertained with a TV that has VCR/DVD players and cable!

There's one bedroom with a queen-size bed on this level, as well as a sleeper sofa in the library (complete with stacks of books and leather furniture) and a twin trundle bed upstairs, so this home can sleep up to 10. There's another full bathroom and a powder room in this home, so no need to take turns often!

If you head through the glass doors to the enclosed backyard, you'll find a gorgeous patio, fire pit, and private outdoor sauna for your enjoyment. There's also plenty of room to spread out on the upper deck of this abode and as a gas grill for BBQ. There are numerous bay beaches and camping spots nearby, as well as boardwalks and fishing spots where you can try your luck with a reel or drop a crab trap into the water.

Coos Bay, nestled right up against North Bend, is the largest coastal city in Oregon, so you can find plentiful fresh seafood restaurants and even a casino and solid nightlife scene! Rent some surfing or kayaking equipment in North Bend or Coos Bay and set out to sea on your own, or join a local charter for some whale-watching or deep-sea fishing. There are art and maritime museums worth checking out if the weather isn't cooperating, and you can always find a unique souvenir from a local boutique.

We were traving from Idaho for our son's wedding. The size of the house makes a stay for a large group of family and friends very comfortable. It is very spacious for large groups when renting the top and bottom connecting units. It would also be great for smaller groups if renting only part of it. Both units provide the privacy needed but with easy access to enjoy tome together for meals and visiting with one another. The home had everything we needed including lots of board games, fire place with fire wood included, and a spectacular view of the Bay! The host was super attentive towards any questions I had and very nice. The home is conviently located in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. Our entire group had a great time!

Such a cool retro house. We really enjoyed the game room and the yard. The only large pans we could find both had chipped teflon and there were some ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. This house has a lot of personal items from the owners but it was fun to look through all the books. It felt a bit like we were staying in a time capsule.

Views are fantastic. Property was clean and taken care of. Plenty of parking. Firepit with plenty of firewood provided was a huge plus. Kitchen and bathrooms are more or less original from when the home was built with some updates - Everything worked properly (note if you want to use the stove top look up a video on Youtube to understand the functionality. Its not exactly straight forward) - and plenty of towels were provided. Laundry facilities worked well. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable and some apps on the TV upstairs were already set up like Disney+ which was a plus to have for the kids. Reached out to Both Vacasa staff and the local staff via text messages for minor issues and both were very responsive and helpful. We would 100% stay in this property again.

The house is a well loved family home and it feels like visiting grandma. Unique design and floorplan filled with ample character in every nook and cranny. The view is incredible. We've stayed a 2 times nearly a decade apart. My kids all had more fun being older and playing in the game room. My daughter did struggle a bit with her allergies in the house, likely dust or mold.

The views, inside and out. Interesting architecture, but be aware there is not a full wall between the two bedrooms upstairs resulting in no privacy. The kitchen has lots of cooking gear, but it needs to be sorted and labeled. We couldn't find many basic items we wanted, and storage is just random. Pizza cutter? Nope. Colander? Finally found one after taking everything out of a few cabinets. Serrated knife? Nope. Seems like it hasn't been curated since the original owners left the building. Tip: our son found muffin tins to use for ice trays since none were provided. Cheers!

The views of course are the real draw. The kitchen was dark, stove impossible and the pots and pans ready for the thrift store. I wouldn't bring young children here because of the knickknacks and the eagle sculpture had some low hanging dangerous areas.

The home is welcoming and peaceful.

The views from the home are beautiful and relaxing. The beds are comfortable. The showers are small, and the shower heads are way too low for most adults. It is an old house, and it looks more like a museum of a family's life so to balance that I have some suggestions. Two main ideas to think about. The stove is nightmare to use, so at least leave instructions about using it. We had planned to make meals there, but the pots and pans didn't sit onto the stovetop well. All vrbo-type rentals I have been in have a welcome basket of fresh tea bags, coffee pods etc in a little basket that conveys hospitality and comfort. The instant coffee was 3 years expired and stuck to the bottom of the container. The home might seem luxurious, but those details bring it down. Get a toaster that doesn't have a broken handle. It may seem picky but the devil is in the details. I flew from Texas to see my family and having the right tools to cook together would have been appreciated. The refrigerator and dishwasher were very good.
