Lovely property in very nice/quiet neighborhood! Best situated for maximum three couples in two first floor and one upstairs bedrooms—Fourth bedroom with bunk bed (upstairs) is best for children, not adults. One complaint, mentioned to property manager, is the oven door does not close securely and releases uncomfortable amount of heat into the kitchen. We were not comfortable leaning a chair against the stainless steel door [fear of scratching/denting], and didn’t use oven again after first use. If you love to cook, this is a serious inconvenience.

The house itself was nice enough. The upstairs bedrooms were really hot, though, and almost uncomfortable for the people sleeping in them. There also wasn’t enough comfortable seating for everyone to sit in the living room. The big problem we had was with the property manager/owner. He owes us for one night and refuses to give us a refund. Here is the timeline of events: - 30 Mar 2021: I reserved 5 nights from 1-6 June 2022 and the entire amount was paid in full by August 12, 2021. - 9 Oct 2021: I requested that the reservation be reduced to 4 nights (1-5 June 2022), which was approved by the property manager/owner. Since I had paid in full, I obviously should be refunded the day we cut off our trip. It was almost 6 months prior to our stay and well within the timeframe for changes without any charges. As a guest, I didn’t know how the VRBO system worked and thought we would be refunded the extra day after our stay. Apparently I was wrong. Per VRBO, the property manager/owner didn’t do his job correctly and did NOT process the refund when he made the date change nor did he process a refund within the required time frame. As a matter of fact, he didn’t process a refund AT ALL! Since he neglected to do any of this, the VRBO system automatically adjusted the nightly rate to match the original reservation amount — WHICH I HAD ALREADY PAID IN FULL! I have screenshots of the before (5 nights) and after (4 nights) pricing as evidence of our claim (I wish I could attach them here but can’t). I have contacted the owner MULTIPLE times as has VRBO Customer Service and he absolutely refuses to refund us what he owes us. So if you decide to stay in this house… BEWARE! The owner has NOT conducted himself in an honest manner AT ALL. If he had, he’d refund us without hesitation as it’s clear as day he should do so. I would never, EVER do business with this man again. So RENTER BEWARE!!

There were 8 of us adults who stayed in this clean home. There was plenty of space and parking (we had 3 cars) for everyone. Kitchen was well equipped. Downtown was a short drive and lots of wineries in the area. Would stay here again.

We so enjoyed our stay at this absolutely beautiful, spacious house on a quiet street. The manager was very communicative and we knew exactly what to expect before arriving. The house is very clean and very well maintained. We used the kitchen and found everything we needed. Our multi-generational group of 7 had very comfortable sleeping arrangements with the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. It was especially nice to park our cars in the garage, because the weather was so warm during our stay. We would absolutely enjoy staying there again. You won’t be disappointed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this large, clean and well located home. Close enough to downtown Paso Robles to either walk (1.5 miles to Fish Gaucho Restaurant!) or make a quick drive, but on the edge of a very quiet hillside neighborhood. We enjoyed sharing the property with local deer, rabbits and various birds and lizards, and had some hilarious, unskilled bocce games in the garden. The four of us were able to spread out in the spacious home, but it could easily accommodate a larger group. It was spotless, and we appreciated the high quality linens and towels. I made a few suggestions to the property manager that would enhance the home cooking/dining experience, but nothing that would prevent me from giving the property a big thumb's up.

La Casa de Robles was a perfect fit for our family of 4 adults & 2 children. The kids loved playing bocce and it was a joy to watch the quail, rabbits, lizards, squirrels, hawks, and deer passing by the large windows throughout the house. It’s quiet here, but right down the road is a deli and a bit further, the town of Paso Robles. We didn’t walk to town, since it was 105-112 degrees during our stay. But it’s only maybe a 5 minute drive. We enjoyed this residence, and it’s convenience to wineries on 46. We’d love to visit again.

La Casa de Robles was the perfect house for our long weekend in Paso. The location is both close to town but feels rural. The proximity to great wineries made it easy to plan our visits. The very lovely house with very nice finishes and amenities was also very comfortable for our families to share time together in the afternoons, evenings and mornings. With 8 of us, our Bocce Ball playing got quite competitive, but always with a good glass of Paso wine in our hands. This is a perfect house for guests who want to go wine tasting and then come home to cook a fun dinner and enjoy the surroundings without having to drive anywhere. But also so close to downtown and all the wonderful restaurants there that a short Uber/Lyft trip (or a walk if it isn’t dark out) will get you to and from easily. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be back.

La Casa de Robles was the perfect home for our family gathering. It's a beautiful home that is comfortably furnished and well equipped. There is plenty of space to gather inside or outside. Inside there is a large dining area, a table for four in the kitchen, a large living area with a small desk, two comfortable chairs for lounging and a large sectional facing a large screen TV and fireplace. Outside there chairs, tables and a very nice dining area next to a gas BBQ. A great bocce ball court is there too! It's in a quiet neighborhood on the west side of town. It's in a semi rustic area overlooking the valley and a perfectly lined up for sunrises. Everyone in our family was impressed with the home and would love to return.

We spent a weekend with two other families in Paso Robles for wine tasting and this house was absolutely perfect. Tons of room for us all to be comfortable, super clean, well stocked kitchen and a lovely yard with bocce court. The entire house, inside and out, was so nice. We really enjoyed our weekend and this beautiful house was the perfect place to unwind after touring the area all day. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful stay here for a family wedding nearby. I only wish we spent more time here! There were 8 of us - 6 adults and 2 kids. The house was perfect, and totally felt like a luxurious retreat, right down to the little touches that make it feel like home (although much nicer!) It was in close proximity to town and wineries. Despite being beautifully appointed and perfectly decorated, it did not feel stuffy or pretentious - important with two little ones (5 and 8) also staying. All of the bedrooms were nice sizes and had plenty of room. The master was large, with a wonderful bath and large walk-in closet. The kids room had bunks and even some toys to keep the occupied when we weren’t exploring. The kitchen was stocked with essential cookware, and had a wonderful breakfast bar. Also, the hosts took great care to make sure that we had all essential house items, and clear instructions, including recommendations and guidance for getting around town. I loved exploring the brochures and books throughout the house which provided a bounty of Information in the region. Perhaps most impressive was the setting - despite being so close to downtown (within walking distance - although we didn’t with the small children - or a short drive), it felt totally secluded. The bocce court and outside sitting area was a quiet retreat unlike anything I’d ever experienced at a private residence. On top of it all, Matt was so responsive and easy to communicate with - truly a pleasure. As well, we mainly took uber and Lyft around town with no issues. We would definitely come back - In fact, I thought about never leaving! Thank you for a memorable vacation!

We had a lot of oohs and ahhhs when we walked thru the front gate and into the house - open, bright, beautiful floors, tile and design - many things you would choose for your own home. The location couldn’t be better - a nice walk to town but far enough away to enjoy some peace and beautiful landscape. We were 2, adult families with plenty of space for fun and privacy. Can’t wait to return!

Our stay involved a group of 7 women for 3 nights. Overall it was an excellent experience. Matt (property manager) was very prompt in replying to my messages; the house was superbly clean and well anointed with all the amenities we needed (towels, linens, etc); the location is a 12 minute walk to the downtown area; and it provided a peaceful and perfect setting for all of us to relax, chat and catch up. Definitely recommend this casa to anyone looking to stay in the Paso Robles area!
