About this house rental
The main level is open concept with a fully equipped kitchen, dining and family area in full view of the lake. Perfect for holidays or reunions, the kitchen has a convection oven with warming drawer, large cooktop and professional microwave oven. Seating for 12 is provided in the dining area. Watch the lake activity and wildlife through the glass panel doors that open to a screened porch overlooking the lake. Also on the main level is a bedroom/queen/ceiling fan/TV and a full bath with bathtub/shower.
The upper level has ample room with three twin beds and a queen with ceiling fans and additional air unit to use if needed. On the lower level there is a bedroom/queen, bathroom/shower, and washer/dryer. You will also find a leather couch, loveseat and recliner in the den along with a game table . Glass panel doors open to a large covered porch overlooking the lake with a porch swing and outdoor furniture. Starter supplies are provided.
Internet is reliable with fiber to the house and wireless for guests. Central Heat /A/C will keep you comfortable in all seasons. Our house is professionally cleaned and smoke-free. Enjoy the convenience of a marina and boat ramp right across the lake. Also across the lake is Shady Cliff Restaurant.
Located on a dead-end street, this area is very quiet with full-time residents. No loud music allowed, no parties, no profanity that can be heard by neighbors. Lake Malone is a wilderness lake, known for unusual sandstone cliffs, rock formations, waterfalls, caves and ledges. At Lake Malone State Park you will find a beach, ramp and camping area, along with many miles of hiking trails. On Sundays in season, Boat Church is held just a short boat ride away, or you can drive or kayak. Simply drop your anchor and be blessed. If antiques and historical homes are your interest, be sure to visit Russellville and Greenville, both just down the road. Day trips include the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Land Between the Lakes, Mammoth Cave, Lost River Cave and many more.
Located only 20 minutes from Peabody WMA with 45,600 acres of excellent birding and fishing opportunities; also deer, turkey, waterfowl and small game hunting. One of the better areas for quail hunting in the state. Horseback riding is allowed on maintained roads.
