Located on the Manatee River, this custom-built dream home offers a dose of the Florida lifestyle that will make it hard to ever leave. With amazing attention to detail, guest comfort and convenience, this home was recently remodeled and is ready to accommodate your dream vacation.
The location of The Moorings is the best of many worlds, with the beaches of Anna Maria Island only 11 miles away by car, St. Pete and Tampa 25 miles, and Sarasota, host of the 2017 World Rowing Championship, only 18 miles away.
The Moorings offers everything a waterfront home should with over 219 feet of water frontage with a dock that allows for a boat up to 40 feet. The intercostal waterways are just around the corner and the Gulf of Mexico not much further. No boat, no problem! Bring your fishing pole and drop a line from the private dock. Bask in the breeze off the Bayou and take in the Old Florida feel as the fishing is plentiful in the Manatee River, home to snook, redfish, and trout.
Enjoy a peaceful float in your private pool, or take an afternoon snooze as you occasionally listen to the sounds of the swaying palms and gently breaking waves lap against the seawall. The evening isn’t complete without a cold beverage, grilling your catch of the day, and watching the game on the outdoor TV.
Natural light fills the home and the kitchen with sliders that open up to the second story lanai, which overlooks the entire canal and bayou. While you may not be inclined to cook on vacation, we have a feeling this state of the art kitchen might just change your mind every once in a while. Cabinet storage is plenty and full of every kitchen gadget you could possibly need to prepare a family meal!
Catch up on some of the movies you have been meaning to see while lounging in the grand living room. From the Florida style art work on the walls to the large sectional couch and overstuffed arm chairs, everything in this room is beautiful and plush. This home comes equipped with cable television and WiFi internet.
After exploring Emerson Point in the morning, swimming in the turquoise blue Gulf of Mexico in the afternoon, and taking an after-dinner walk along the Bradenton Riverwalk, you are going to be exhausted! There are two master suites; one on each floor. Each has a king-sized bed, luxurious en-suite bathroom, and large walk-in closets. The third guestroom on the upper level has two twin-XL sized beds. Both king size bedrooms have a TV and all bedrooms have ceiling fans to keep you super comfortable for a restful sleep.

Great house will, well appointed and very clean. Private pool area , was a quiet and very relaxing. Close enough to all necessities for a great vacation. Perfect for a couple or small family.

This home is beautiful and so clean! The kitchen was super well stocked with plenty of utensils, 2 sets of dishes, glasses and silverware and pretty much everything you could possibly need. Theparking was very convenient with spaces in front of the garage and another to the left. The small neighborhood was lovely and quiet. We enjoyed the pool and the convenience of the grocery store, pharmacies and restaurants. We were able to get to parks and trails, St. Petersburg and St. Pete Beach easily. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The house and tropical pool area was fabulous.
There was a fire across the water one day. I called the manager. Soot and ash blew over to our pool and steps into screened area. We did have to leave because of the smoke and smell. We felt like we waisted a day of our paid stay. Would be nice to get a discount for our lost day.
Alex helped me our 2nd day by phone, we could not get 2 of the TVs to work. There were no instructions on all the remotes. That would have been helpful so he wasn't bothered on the weekend. I appogized to him , he said he was just doing his job and glad to help me. He provided great customer service.
Our only complaint was location. We had difficulty every evening with where to go for dinner. We like eating seafood and eating on the water. None of the was your fault though.
House was decorated so tropical and the outside was perfect.
Would highly recommend to someone who wanted to relax and maybe not eat out so often.
