Peaceful oasis close to the beach (with amazing breakfasts)

Delicious and beautifully presented breakfasts with coffee, fresh orange juice, scrambled eggs, freshly baked cakes and pastries and fruit. Comfortable well appointed rooms, nice surroundings with exotic birds coming to the bird feeder. And a lovely couple running the guest house. Location in Jabaquara is quieter than the centre of Paraty, with a nice beach and restaurants.

Not a criticism, but worth noting it’s a very pleasant one mile walk into the centre of Paraty, which we were happy to do. Otherwise a short taxi or cycle ride.

this is a beautiful location with owners who are so pleasant and kind.

It was beautiful. They were amazing flowers throughout the property, some I had never seen before in my life. And the set up by the owners brought beautiful little birds in the mornings. The room was spacious and clean and I had a little back porch area where I was able to sit and read.

at first I thought it was going to be too far from the town, but it's only about a kilometer and a half away actually, and the owner was kind to call me a taxi on a couple of occasions, and it came right away and took me where I needed to go. And another occasions I took an Uber from town back to the property.

The property is new and you will see it in everything. Everything is super clean and you will see it as soon as you come in. I loved our host and the breakfast every morning was wonderful. If you don’t speak Portuguese, don’t worry, she will call her son and he’s always there to help. We needed to do a lot of laundry and she even called the laundry service to pick it up. Thanks so much for staying at your place.

It’s a bit of a walk to Paraty centre but we really didn’t mind. There are plenty of restaurants near the beach and how good is it to just walk 50 meters to the beach every day?

Lovely new pouso with a really warm and welcoming family

The family running the pouso were really amazing. They were all so helpful and accommodating. And all went out of their way to help. And there was always someone on hand to help when there were language difficulties or when the electrical outage failure due to the severe rain - they were always quick and efficient to respond. The pouso is brand new - only open a few weeks so everything is brand new. And everything is also very clean. Excellent breakfast - such a lot of choice and lots of fresh food.

I chose the pouso as the home page on Booking.com and the facilities page of the pouso itself state that the pouso is beachfront. It is not - it is two blocks back from the beachfront, doesn't face the beach and all the rooms are on the ground floor so there is no way of knowing that you are at the beach. This needs to be changed. Having chosen the pouso as it was beachfront, meant that I was then out of town. Not such a problem during the day as it is a nice walk in - some of it along the beach path but I didn't like the long, uphill walk back to the pouso at night, though dark, dimly lit streets, as I was often the only one walking. For this reason, the pouso is probably more suitable for those with a car.

Incrível!

Eu e minha namorada amamos a pousada da dona Gê! Fomos muito bem recebidas e conseguimos fazer o check in antes do horário previsto (é só mandar uma mensagem para a dona Gê perguntando se é possível entrar na acomodação antes). A pousada não é longe do centro histórico e fica bem localizada. No quarto que ficamos possui uma cama de casal e uma de solteiro, muito confortáveis, com ar condicionado, banheiro espaçoso com um bom chuveiro e uma área externa para pendurar roupas molhadas. Dentro do quarto não é permitido fumar, porém, pode-se usar a área externa sem problemas. O café da manhã é bem servido, em um horário bom, com variedades de pães, bolos, suco, leite e etc. Dona Gê e seu marido foram extremamente solícitos, respeitosos e acolhedores, e nos deram várias dicas de passeios e caminhos. Lugar com bom custo benefício e acolhedor. Com certeza voltaremos com grande prazer!

Uma escolha com excelente custo benefício.

A pousada é pequena, simples, mas muito bem organizada e limpa. Os quartos são bem arejados, o colchão é bom e a roupa de cama também. Também é bem localizada e de fácil acesso ao centro histórico. Os anfitriões são muito atenciosos e gentis. Conhecem tudo da cidade e estão sempre dispostos a compartilhar indicações de passeios.

Tudo muito bom. Nos sentimos como se estivéssemos em casa. Lugar simples mas muito limpo e cuidado. Localização excelente. Íamos e voltavamos a pé do centro histórico. Fica a 2 quarteirões da praia Jabaquara. No entorno tem mercado, restaurantes bons... O café da manhã também é muito bom. Enfim, nada temos a reclamar. Só agradecer a Gê, seu esposo e a funcionária Eliane pela acolhida e por termos passado ótimos dias nesse Pouso.

Ótima opção para quem não quer ficar perto do centro histórico de Paraty

A localização do hotel é muito boa. Como não é possível trafegar no centro histórico de carro, se hospedar nesse hotel foi uma ótima opção, pois era perto e rápido para ir de carro até uma rua que sempre havia vagas e sem cobrança de estacionamento rotativo. Podem perguntar na pousada por essa rua. Café da manhã bem servido, com opções de pães, frios, doces e frutas. O quarto era extremamente limpos e silencioso.

Me senti em casa!

Tive uma estadia excelente com a Genizete! O lugar é extremamente limpo, organizado e muito confortável. A cama era ótima, com roupa de cama de qualidade e muito aconchegante. As toalhas também eram boas e havia itens de higiene pessoal disponíveis, o que foi um ótimo diferencial. O frigobar estava abastecido com água por um valor super justo. O café da manhã foi delicioso, com várias opções: pães, frios, pão de queijo, frutas, ovos, bolo, café e suco — tinha até mais, mas pegamos só isso e já foi mais do que suficiente! Um gesto que fez muita diferença foi a gentileza da Genizete em permitir que meu irmão e minha cunhada, que nem estavam hospedados, tomassem um banho antes de pegar a estrada. Ela foi super receptiva e simpática o tempo todo. Aliás, Genizete é uma pessoa muito agradável — quase perdemos a hora de tanto conversar com ela! Hahaha. Recomendo demais a hospedagem!
