AC did not work but Andrea and Giulia were super responsive and kept in touch while a solution was worked out. They made sure the issue was resolved.

Overall, we had a great stay. The hosts were incredibly responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our visit. They provided very clear check-in instructions, which made the arrival process smooth and stress-free. The location is excellent—within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions, restaurants, and shops. We also felt very safe in the area at all times.

The main downside was the heat. It was incredibly hot during our stay, and unfortunately, the air conditioning units listed in the apartment did not cool the space. The hosts explained that properties in the historic city centre are not allowed to have traditional outdoor AC units, which is why the system cannot cool as well. While we understand the restriction, the apartment was uncomfortably hot, and they should buy some fans or functional AC units. The apartment itself is nice and has charm, but it does show signs of wear and tear. We were four people and used the sofa bed, but we noticed the cushions underneath were quite dirty. The walls could also use some fresh paint, and the shower is very small.

The location of the property is perfect for walking.

We stayed 3 nights and the AC took a full 24 hours to cool the area down, and it never cooled the upstairs space enough to be comfortable. When I asked the staff for a fan in addition because of this, I was told that “the AC works perfectly you don’t need a fan”. We both had to moved to the sofa bed below the loft to sleep because it stayed so warm.
