Charming House Inside the Gate of Sequoia National Park

Our family really enjoyed the stay. There were plenty of beds and three bathrooms. The views are amazing. Enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets on the mountains.

Comfortable place to stay with family and friends. Great mountain views. Interior has great space with open feel. Perfect for gathering and just spending quality time with family. Close to parks entrance.

Stayed 2 nights with a crew of 7. It's a great home for a beautiful sunrise view, porch sitting, feeding a crew and getting early jump on the park. Easy checkin/check out and good communication with host. We had a great stay.

The house is nice and is inside the gate of Sequoia National Park. The location is great! However, when we arrived at the house at 4 pm in June, the air conditioner was off and the house was HOT!! It was about 85 degrees inside the house. We immediately turned the air conditioner on, but the house stayed hot during the night. The next morning it was a little cooler, but the house got hot during the day. The next day the host sent a repairman out. He ordered a part that arrived the following day. Having the new part helped a lot, but the air conditioner never managed to truly cool the house. Because the house was so hot our entire stay, I asked the host for a partial refund. She said she would process a partial refund. I never received it. The instructions for departing guests say to turn the air conditioner off before you leave. So, even if the air conditioner does get completely fixed, the house will be hot when you arrive.
