For the sun worshiper South Maui is the driest, hottest, and most popular coastline on the island. One glance at the 180 degree view from this beautiful, tranquil spot with its spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath condo at Koa Lagoon and you know you have the perfect spot for your vacation.
The view encompasses not only the surf but an area of overwhelming beauty of swaying palms and tropical flowers. We are located 15 minutes from Kahului Airport and just minutes to wonderful restaurants, entertainment, and shopping.
There are touches of Hawaiian art throughout and beautiful appointed island furniture. It is relaxing and quiet; not the feeling of the touristy, larger resorts. From the wind protected swimming pool to quiet walks on the beach you will enjoy endless hours.
If you vacation here during whale season, (roughly Dec - Apr.) you will enjoy viewing these giants from your own lanai and enjoy the gorgeous Maui sunsets with island style appetizers from your 5th floor lanai also. Take the time to watch these spectacular sunsets on a daily basis.
The condo and lanai are non-smoking with a large Living/Dining room area and spacious master bedroom. The kitchen is very well equipped for a gourmet chef so bring your favorite cookbooks if enjoy you cooking.

Amazing view! Condo was very comfortable and provided just about everything we needed for the beaches. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, but a vase and a pitcher for beverages would have been nice. Definitely would stay again. (Hope you got the door knob fixed!)

I'm going to miss sipping my morning coffee on the balcony overlooking an iconic view of the beach and ocean. This rental provided a great "home away from home" on our vacation. It's centrally located on the island making trips anywhere on the island accessible. It had all the amenities we needed -- a kitchen with plenty of supplies, plenty of beach gear, etc. It was comfortable, especially with the air conditioning and ceiling fans in each room.The beds were comfortable. There is a bit of street noise from cars driving by, but it didn't keep us up.If I were to nitpick, there are little things that could use some improvmements -- the supplied beach umbrella is broken, a toilet that wouldn't stop refilling without a little handle jiggling, and a TV box that didn't always register remote control presses. Nothing big and didn't detract from our enjoyable experience.

We had a lot of difficulty getting a response from the host on all messages. The most concerning was that we never got access instructions that we were told would be provided 2 days before checkin. After messaging and calling all the numbers provided we finally called VRBO who said we had to go to the condo and if access still was not provided they would find us similar accommodations. So we landed in Maui with one of our party in a wheelchair and the another 84 years old and no way to get in. We were emailed the info after we landed and told “sorry I didn’t realize the email wasn’t sent.” :(
The condo was pleasant and the view was beautiful! Our only issue was the Wi-Fi was useless for using the internet. We were not able to get online and so just shut off the Wi-Fi on our phones and used cellular data which was very spotty. Also, the TV system wouldn’t recognize the HDMI source and we couldn’tn watch TV either, not that we wanted to except for the American Idol finals where the local boy won!!
