Lovely house - but youre being watched!
Lovely house and very comfortable. I could tell the owners had reallly put their soul into the property. Clean and well presented. Great location and would definitely stay again if I felt uneasy with the 3rd party provider conversation I received.
The dog next door - barking early morning and throughout the day - very annoying!! Skye cottages call centre staff are also very unprofessional when speaking to them. Clearly I was beign watched by someone based on the content of my conversation with them which made me very uneasy.

Great base for exploring Weymouth
The best thing about Rockpools is it's location. It's a 10-minute walk to the centre of Weymouth and it's very close to the coastal path. The neighbourhood was quiet when we were there (a few days around Halloween) and the neighbours we met were friendly. The house itself is compact and cosy. It is equipped with everything a family of 4 would need for a few days. The bathroom has been recently updated with a walk-in shower (I think some old photos are still up on Booking.com).
The house was very clean, but unfortunately my daughter found a piece of old chewing gum stuck to a chair leg on the first night of our stay and I found another stuck to the table leg, so I couldn't award it a top score. I guess we were just unlucky. Everything else was very good.
