This family friendly villa is just north of Pacific Coast Highway and a half mile from Newport Beach peninsula. From the Sunset Park bluff overlooking the peninsula, only a 15-minute walk (or better yet, a 5 minute bike ride) to the sandy beach and Pacific Ocean. The Newport Pier is just another mile south (5 more minutes) along the beautiful beach boardwalk.

Enjoy a dual-master bedroom layout with two full bathrooms, beautiful wraparound balcony and sun deck, hardwood floors, three TVs, fireplace, internal laundry services, and a open kitchen with all-marble countertops, huge skylights, and stainless steel extra-deep sink.

Property manager made the rental process a very smooth and pleasant experience. He was extremely helpful and attentive during our stay. Condo location is excellent with good proximity to beach, restaurants, etc. The condo is bright and airy on the third floor and has a spacious balcony that the kids loved to play on. The negatives are that the finishes are a bit dated, water pressure is poor (CA issue from what I was told), and the A/C temp must be reset every 3 hours as it has a thermostat designed for rental property. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Our experience was amazing! A+. The condo is located in a beautiful condo community with lush gardens and cool and inviting feel with meticulously maintained grounds. The community is a 5-min. walk from the wonderful Newport beaches. We easily walked back and forth and enjoyed the safe neighborhood (didn’t need a car).The condo itself is lovely. The decoration is cheerful and cozy. Our first impression was a relaxing vibe that made us want to slip into a spa robe and relax, with the background sound of a zen-like fountain right outside our balcony. We automatically felt welcomed by a sense of family hospitality. This is also due to the host’s amazing attention to detail. He welcomed us remotely during pandemic times, taking care of us and making sure we felt safe, secure and pampered. He recommended grocery delivery services (Wholefoods, Costco etc) that really enhanced our stay, receiving groceries at our condo door. He ensured we were comfortable and patiently answered all our questions. We will definitely come back to Casa Cristina! Hoping to book same time next year since we noticed it books up very fast and well in advance!!

The location was excellent (1/2 mile from the beach and a mile from 17st). The facilities (pool, weight room and parking) were also excellent. The top floor condo was a good size one and well equipped meeting all of our needs. The property manager responded quickly to any questions and needs very quickly. We will definitely return.

A lovely stay at this property - property manager very responsive. A very relaxed community with great pools, gym and tennis courts. 10 min walk to local beaches and less than 5 min drive to local supermarkets (e.g. Vons/Trader Joes) and stores. 15 min walk to the Lido area for great restaurants. The apartment itself is a great size - loads of space. A great spot to land for a very relaxed holiday.

Casa Cristina is our home away from home to escape the Northeast winter. Condo has everything we could need with a we'll appointed kitchen, comfortable furnishings and an on site pool complex and gym. Just a short ride to the beach, movies, shopping and restaurants. Location was okay, there was no barbeque on the balcony, though promised. Balcony has almost no sun - facing north. The utilities in the apartment is very old and worn down. Pool, spa and fitness vere very good. The floorplan of the property is excellent, and the bed in the Master bedroom is very good. The single beds are ok for children. We found the property well equipped and even though we were there for two months we didn’t miss a thing. If we were to return to newport beach, we would choose an apartment with a balcony facing south. Nice apartment but caution is advised because of the fragile state of the interior/utilities

This is a great place to be within walking distance to the beach and easily accessible to all major attractions. Easy drive to LA and Balboa Island. Perfect for families to spread out and have some private space for downtime. The pool and hot tub were a hit with our family. Parking was ample (2 spaces). Washer/dryer were a plus and the manager was accessible even though we didn't even have to meet him face to face. Directions and outlines of area attractions were clearly provided to insure no surprises or additional fees. Thanks for sharing your space for our memorable vacation!

Our objective was to escape 100+ degrees in Phoenix, we did. The condo is spacious with 2 bedrooms & 2 baths. Games & beach toys would please a family with children. It’s only a 15-minute walk to the beach, and the property has both active and quiet pools plus a workout room. The top floor location allows skylights for a light, bright interior. Property Manager Steve was quick to respond and handled any concerns with courtesy and promptness.

The condo was a great location for an active family like ours. We were minutes away from the beach, bike trails, and even a park. Our family had a blast and we hope to be able to do it again. The pool and outdoor bbq area was an added bonus. The condo was nice with plenty of room for our family of 5. We only had one issue... we had a bike stolen from the parking garage so if you bring your own bikes make sure to lock them up in the condo!

From my first contact with Steve, the property manager, to my farewell a month later, this much-needed vacation was everything I could have wanted. My drive from Phoenix was interrupted for several hours by a violent desert rainstorm, and Steve went out of his way to accommodate my late arrival, changing his plans so that he could meet me on site. Then at the end of my first week, Steve called just to see if I needed anything. This vacation was my chance to return to my Southern California roots, having lived in Orange County for nearly 40 years. I felt very much at home at Casa Cristina, a nicely decorated and maintained condo in a quiet community, with spectacular ocean views including Catalina. A nice surprise was the Breitling Huntington Beach Air Show the last weekend in September. From my condo balcony I enjoyed watching the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds practicing overhead, and on show days performing their spectacular stunts for several thousand people crowded onto the beach ... and I didn't have to fight the traffic getting to and from the event!! To sum it all up, I plan to return to this property and highly recommend it to friends and relatives.

Had the pleasure of staying at Casa Cristina for a must- needed rest and relaxation. The condo was beautiful, clean, well-appointed, homey and easily accessible to wonderful restaurants and markets. Since I love to cook, having a well stocked kitchen and a Trader Joe's up the street were amazing bonus. I also loved the two tones of paint in the various rooms-- and thought the accent walls added a lovely touch. I also enjoyed the lovely and thoughtful decor-- clear time and care was taken in setting up the condo. It was also very quiet-- and I was able to catch-up on some much needed sleep. The property manager, Steve, was amazing. He thought of every little detail down to a binder with local places to go. He was also very friendly and willing to answer any question in a very timely manner. This place is a hidden gem and I look forward to a return visit soon.

Es encantador!! Volvería mil veces más! Gracias!! This newly remodeled condo is just a few minutes by bicycle to the beautiful Newport Beach strip, lots of restaurants, and entertainment. Located in a high-end gated community, this condo is close to the freeway, grocery stores, and Fashion Island shopping. Don’t forget Disneyland and Legoland are just short car ride (or Uber) away! Parking in front of the condo was never a problem, and the community swimming pool was a favorite with my two children. I would definitely come back in the future!

This property suited our needs perfectly! It is close to the ocean, a block from Pacific Coast Highway and only a few blocks from the start of the 55 freeway. The condo itself has a nice kitchen, two bedrooms, two baths, a living area and a lovely balcony area suitable for grilling, sunbathing, and outdoor dining. The place is quiet -- our neighbors were courteous and we were never kept awake by late night revelry. On the hottest days the AC worked well. The condo complex has a gorgeous common area with pools, spas, grills, and tables for our use. We had friends over a couple of times and found the common facilities clean and uncrowded and wonderful for entertaining. Adequate parking is right outside our building, usually one or two stalls from the entrance. We never had to go far to find parking for ourselves. * Was the listing description accurate regarding the location, layout, amenities, etc ? Yes * Was the property clean and well-maintained ? Yes, the condo was clean. Not only Casa Christina, but the entire complex is nicely maintained. Bushes were trimmed, walkways swept, common area grills and tables clean, etc. * Did the owner provide good customer service ? Yes. He made arrangements for us to get into the property, leaving a note specifically for us. The one time when we contacted him regarding cable service, he went above and beyond to allow us to use a PVR. * Would you recommend this property to your friends or relatives ? Absolutely! The price was reasonable, the location beautiful, the condo peaceful and quiet with nice amenities. * What activities, attractions and restaurants did you like or dislike nearby ? Landlord has a binder full of places to go in the area, including restaurants, parks/beaches, amusement parks, etc. We particularly enjoyed just being at the property, going to the beach, and watching the new Huntington Beach Air Show.

We traveled from overseas to the fair shores of Newport Beach and were very satisfied with "Casa Cristina" as our Springtime retreat in Southern California. The condo has everything you could need - this is not a scaled down empty apartment. Fully furnished with thoughtful amenities, fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, two bathrooms, two master bedrooms! You could stay here year-round (and we would love to). The condo community is very close to the famous Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and minutes away from the Newport Beach pier. There is a local Enterprise Rent-A-Car on PCH that will pick you up and drop you off. They offer great weekend deals on small compact cars. The pools and gym at Villa Balboa condo association were top notch.
