Charming 1940's cottage on South Boundary with pool. Quaint setting with Live Oaks, lush, naturalized gardens and old brick walls provide a private setting just 4 blocks to downtown Aiken. Five minutes to Aiken Horse Park. Beautiful parkways with indigenous trees provide luscious light and southern aromas. The fireplace is for the chilly winter nights. Pool is open all year round. Cottage is fully furnished with all amenities included. Cable, WIFI, utilities. No smoking on premises, indoor or outdoor. This property is best for those who appreciate historical charm.

The location was perfect. The cottage was very quaint and nostalgic which we enjoyed. The host was pleasant and responsive. It was very clean and lots of towels which I appreciated. Since it was November we did not use the pool, but looks like it would be wonderful in the summer. However as another guest mentioned there is a stale smell that my husband said he got use to…but I did not. My recommendation would be to replace the carpet with hardwood or laminate. I think that may be what contributes to that issue.

I thought it was a very nice stay and the host was responsive. It's a shame that we couldn't use the pool due to the colder autumn weather during our stay but it's a nice space to hang out.Only one problem is that the property was hard to find when we arrived late in the evening in the dark. It is hard to find in general for all our Uber drivers and food delivery people.

This was a “staycation” weekend for my friend because we were dying for some poolside fun. It was just what we needed. The pool was awesome and the pool house was clean and cozy.
