About this cabin rental
***Starting with the summer 2021 schedule, D2Cabin is moving to a Friday to Friday rental week. This only affects June, July and August. All other dates are available for any check in day with a 3 night minimum.***
D2Cabin is located just west of the Northern Highland State Forest in Arbor Vitae which allows plenty of public hunting opportunities. Caywood Shooting Range is about 1 mile away. Private snowmobile access to the groomed snowmobile trail. This cabin has a living room, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen, bathroom. Outdoor deck, fire pit, grill and private lake access across the road. A screened gazebo allows bug-free outdoor dining. Private pier with boat and oars provided. Large wooded property with no homes on either side. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi included. Natural gas heat, super insulated to keep cool in the summer. Basement with shelving for coolers, fishing gear, snowmobile equipment,etc. Washer/dryer included for your use at no charge.

We really enjoyed our stay at D2Cabin! As repeat customers, we appreciate the cleanliness and hospitality that Debbie consistently provides. This time we had four adults in the rental, and it worked out fine. We lucked out on the weather (it rained at night), caught enough crappies for two fish fries, and enjoyed the local area for walking and biking. We encountered warm and humid weather (not uncommon for Wisconsin summers), and the ceiling fans are great for airflow. I couldn’t remember if there were additional portable fans in the rental, so I brought my newly purchased 10” box fan from Aldi. It really came in handy while cooking in the kitchen and was a perfect fit for the window! We also used it in the main bedroom and felt more comfortable while sleeping. As a side note, this time we noticed that our cellphone service was nonexistent. We had USCellular - which was great, but they were recently bought out by T-Mobile - which we constantly have issues with! That being said, the rental’s Wi-fi was a lifesaver for texting and staying connected online. We always enjoy our vacation time up north and we look forward to when we can return!

This was our 9th consecutive year coming to the D2 cabin. Awesome location, cabin, amenities, and hosts. It's why we have been coming every year since 2017 and have year10 already booked for next summer. Highly recommend!
