Come visit Hummingbird Pond! Charming cottage in the mountains of North Carolina. Beautiful views, fully-stocked pond, great for swimming! Only 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, Hummingbird Pond is a great vacation spot for your family and friends. Spacious cottage with five bedrooms and three full bathrooms.

Features two fireplaces (gas and wood), central air and heat, washer and dryer, satellite TV, DVD, and high-speed wireless internet service.

We had a wonderful stay....some fishing, floating and relaxing. The home is comfortable and the location feels secluded but nice and close to Asheville. We will definitely be back!

Our family had a blast in this well kept home. Ginee had everything we needed right there for us and was quick to respond to questions. The separate areas were great for the large family we had on our Thanksgiving trip. The kitchen was well stocked and perfect for cooking up or Thanksgiving meal! We will be back soon!

Overall we enjoyed the property. There were items in the home that were broken upon our arrival however. Shelves in the fridge kept falling off. But biggest blow to the trip was the hot tub being out of order. There was no indication during the reservation process that indicated that the hut tub was not in operation. It is listed under the amenities and was featured in the listing pictures but was not functional. We only found a note in the owner book that stated it was not open because of Covid. Not disclosing the status of the hot tub was very misleading. We chose that property partly because of the hot tub. There were some fish in the pond (only bluegill as far as we could tell). We fished a lot, with lots of different baits/lures. In the end bread balls right at the dock attracted some bluegill. Property was close enough to town for trips to dinner.
