The apartment looks over Greenmarket Square, which is the bustling heart of Cape Town, full of traders with art and treasures from all over Africa. On the corner of Long Street outside the apartment is the starting point for Hop-On Hop-Off tours and there are excellent eateries in the neighborhood. Cape Town is South Africa's Mother City and it's energy reflects that. The city area around Long, Loop and Bree streets are bustling with creativity and fun, great bars and coffee shops, restaurants, clubs, curio and artefact shops, design studios and art galleries. The V&A Waterfront, Greenpoint and De Waterkant is 15 minutes walk or a quick trip by Uber or taxi. Or rent a bicycle just down the street! Cape Town is a great city to explore on foot or bicycle. Table Mountain is on the bus route outside the door, Clifton and Camps Bay beaches just a few stops away. You couldn't wish for a better or more exciting part of Cape Town to explore this cosmopolitan and cultural melting pot at the tip of Africa.
The apartment is ideally positioned for exploring the city on foot. Apartment has parking bay in secure garage in complex, if you have a rental car. There are many car rental agencies within walking distance. Hop-On Hop-Off bus terminal is 30 steps from apartment on corner of Long and Shortmarket streets. Bicycles available for rental close by. And motorbikes. Vroooom! Ubers and taxis always available, all hours.
There is a store room with extra supplies of anything you run out of of. You can also use it to store suitcases or rental bicycles/gear

Perfect location-easy to walk to just about everything in Capetown. Owner was extremely informative and we utilized a lot of his recommendations! Greeted us with a bottle of wine and a packet of information. The parking spot/garage was a major plus as parking downtown would have been quite a headache. Clean apartment with all of the necessities. WiFi worked great. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again!
