About this house rental
On the top floor, there is a spacious loft overlooking the living room that has 2 queens “ size beds and is perfect for mom, dad, and a couple of kids.
The main floor has one bedroom, with a queen-size bed, there is a full-size bath, with the living room that has TV/DVD and Satellite, Starlink WiFi, kitchen (no dishwasher), dining area seats 6, that opens out to a beautiful deck with wonderful views of the mountains and pine trees of Yosemite. Follow the spiral staircase downstairs to the bottom level, and you will find a lovely, cozy private master bedroom with a queen-size bed, a bath, and incredible views. There is a wood-burning fireplace in the living room and is shared by the dining area for those intimate evening dinners. Both the east and west wings can be rented together for those most special family reunions. There are 3 parking spots over the summer months, and 2 parking spots over the winter months.
We provide you with dishware, cookware, silverware, blankets, pillows, linens, and towels. Condiments provided are hot chocolate, Folgers coffee and filters, sugar packets, cream packets, Lipton tea, and salt & pepper. We also provide dishwasher detergent, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and free firewood for units that have wood-burning fireplaces. All our properties come equipped with propane BBQ, and we provide the propane.

When we got there, we were impressed about how clean it was. There was just two of us but Chateau East had enough room for 8. It’s a little bit of a drive to the valley but the neighborhood is nice and quiet. Chateau East is a lower level. You’ll walk down about 8 steps and then on to a nice deck. Beautiful view out the living room!

The house is clean, well equipped and has a nice deck with a grill, all as described. The Chateau East is part of a much larger house - Chateau West was also occupied. While the other guests could be heard sometimes, the 2 units are totally separate. I recommend this place for it's location within the Park, easy access to Glacier Point, the Valley and the Redwoods in Mariposa. Unfortunately, Glacier Point Road is closed until 2024. We are looking forward to return.

We loved our stay at this property. It had new carpet and flooring. It was super clean and convenient to spend the days down in the valley. There were beautiful views. Can’t wait to plan the next trip.
