Istrian guest house »ILLY«, which can accommodate eight people, is located in Kaštel, a small village in Croatia, 12 km from Umag. The nearest beach, Kanegra, is only 6 km away from the house. Kaštel is a good starting point for trips along Istria, wine paths and its wine cellars, olive tree plantations and a wide range of cycle lanes. In the vicinity, there are many well-known Istrian resaturants so called »konoba«, boasting with top quality Istrian cuisine and wines. It is the most attractive point of the Istrian peninsula beacuse of the quick access to some important towns and cities such as Portorož and Koper in Slovenia , Triest in Italy, and Rijeka and Pula in Croatia.
ILLY guest house is built in an enclosed private area of about 550 m2. It comprises a swimming pool, covered terrace, garden with furniture, deckchairs, and a barbacue grill, a garage, a parking lot. The house area is about 200 m2. The house with two entrances is neatly arranged, bright, spacious and fully furnished. The ground floor consists of a kitchen with a dining room, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a living room leading to the terrace and swimming pool of 24 m2, the depth 145 cm. The first floor contains a kitchen with a dining room leading to the terrace, a living room, two bedrooms, a fitness room, a bathroom. Both floors can be either connected or two separate units.
The owners live on the property, but in a separete area and they are always available to help and advise.

Lovely welcome by the host who truly cares for the guests - incl. fresh vegetables from their own farm and garden.
The house is well cut (large kitchen/dining anrea, living room but also great to separate or retreat in individual rooms for some quiet) and equipped for groups and families who like to cook their own meals. The grill house is a highlight even in hot summer.
The pool & terrace were our place of choice, especially in the afternoon and with some shade.
Overall a very recommendable venue and terrific host!

Es war traumhaft! Das Haus ist genial - 4 Schlafzimmer, 4 Badezimmer, 3 Küchen, 2 Wohnzimmer, ein Kinderspielraum, 2 Waschmaschinen und sogar ein Trockner. Im Garten viel Platz für alle, mehr als genug Liegen beim tollen und immer sauberen Pool. Ein tolles Spielgerüst samt Schaukeln für Kinder gibts auch. Die Lage (Buje) war für uns auch perfekt. Es sind nur ein paar wenige Minuten zu einem privaten Strand, man ist in Kürze auf der Autobahn, Ausflugsziele wie Triest, Portoroz, Porec, Pula etc. lassen sich so bequem und einfach erreichen. Gute Lokale sind auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Vermieterin und ihre Familie sind super freundlich und sind auch immer für uns für Tipps und Tricks erreichbar gewesen. Ob es eine Empfehlung für ein gutes Restaurant oder eine Bootsvermietung war - alle unsere Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Wir kommen garantiert nochmal hier her!
