About this house rental
Shorebreak on Bastimentos is an eco-friendly custom waterfront home. Step off the deck and place your feet directly into the warm Caribbean. Only a few small steps from the ocean water this custom home is located on the Island of Bastimentos, Bocas del Toro, Panama. Amazing views! The entire front of the house is rotating glass doors allowing you to scope out the surf breaks while enjoying your meals. Rainwater collection, hot water, open floor plan, sleeps 6 and children are welcome (2 queen beds, 2 singles (bunkbeds), and hammocks to rest in!). Large natural stone bathroom with dual shower heads. Caretaker on site for all inquires.
If you enjoy water activities, this is the place! This home is located directly on the sea with major surf destinations visible from the front porch. And yes, one is directly in front! Enjoy amazing snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle boarding or kayaking while island hoping! Each island in this chain is only a few minutes apart by boat. Water taxis are available to take you from island to island or on a guided tour. Or stay in.
Bastimentos Island has wonderful untouched white sand beaches, including Red Frog, Wizard and Polo Beach. You can also enjoy zip lining through the canopy or taking a guided cave tour, plus surfing, bars, restaurants, and so much more.

Overall, we had a great stay. Great breeze off the ocean. Bombi was a great caretaker and arranged for anything we needed. Especially helpful arranging our trip back to Panama City. I slipped on the steps down to the deck the day before our departure and broke my leg. We had taxis waiting for us the whole way. Even got several of the island men to carry me down to dock to water taxi. Be aware that wood get very saturated when it rains and have moss on them so very slick!
We would definitely go back to this friendly island and to shorebreak house.

We really enjoyed our stay at your place! Bombi was amazing! He made us feel safe and secure. He knows everybody on the the island and what ever we needed he made it happen. He is a keeper for sure! Not sure you could find a better host! Thank you so much and we will definitely recommend your place to friends!

Great amenities. There is a guitar, bass, and ukulele in the house. The kitchen is stocked pretty well... we cooked most of our meals. The house has a stand up paddle board that we took out every morning. Great location close to town but still secluded on beach. It is situated nicely facing the ocean with a steady breeze. We could've stayed for months and still not seen everything.
