It’s a good location right in Old Bank for waking around to explore this part of Bastimentos. It’s also close to the dock for catching water taxis or taking a snorkeling trip. The view from the deck is beautiful. The bedrooms have a/c. The owner was very responsive.
It wasn’t very clean and the amenities (hand soap, body wash, coffee) were a bit lacking. The fan on the deck wasn’t working, so it did get hot, but the owner is working on replacing it.

The location in Old Bank and the views from both the kitchen and bedroom balconies were excellent. The air conditioning in both bedrooms was excellent and provided a comfortable night’s sleep. Marilin was very responsive, helpful and friendly. She arranged for her son and nephew to carry our cases up and down the hill and stairs which was greatly appreciated.
The crockery and cutlery were not clean on our arrival - we needed to wash anything we were going to use from the kitchen.
On the booking description it stated there was a beach nearby the house (pictures of small sandy beach) however this was not available.

Excelent position and beautiful view, close to the pier and center of Old Bank.
The access to the house a bit too difficult, but the view compensates the effort.

Die Aussicht von der Terrasse war super.
Sehr viele Insekten in den Schlafzimmern. Generell nicht gerade sauber.
Der Weg hoch zum Haus war jedes Mal ein Erlebnis. Über Stock und Stein, zwischendurch ein paar Hühnern aus dem Weg gehen.
Da man mitten in „Old Bank“ wohnt muss man mit seehr lauter Musik der Nachbarn rechnen. Zum Entspannen also nicht ideal.
