lake paradise

Perfect location for relaxing near nature and for boat tours around the lake. The hosts were very accommodating from helping us wash our clothes, to a boat tour to frequent check-ins. We were very comfortable in this area and enjoyed watching the monkeys from the balcony.

Not the property’s fault - but some construction work on the road was a little noisy.

Ich bin sehr spät angekommen und konnte auch sehr spät nachts einchecken. Die Menschen dort haben immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Es war alles da was ich für eine Nacht brauchte und fühlte mich sehr wohl. Auch das Frühstück war super.

The owners are lovely - Kelum has a bike for rent as well as a tuk tuk and a small taxi so he can help with tours to Ella etc. Upstairs room has lovely view and v peaceful location with balncony away from the noisy road and close to the lake. They organised a very reasonably priced taxi to the airport and also let me use a room before i left and they didn't charge me which was very helpful and kind. My bed was very comfy - great mattress and very clean room (which is the important thing really when travelling on a budget. I didn't need the hot water but it is there and available if you ask them (something to do with pressure). Kelums wife kindly did some laundry for me. Habaraduwa is an untouristy local village and close to Ahangama but well away from the tourist traps. I genuinely loved the pace of local life here and Habaraduwa has a large unspoilt beach that's not developed (yet).

I wasn't a massive fan of the breakfast - I would have preferred string hoppers and dal rather than samosas etc. The internet and phone reception was patchy - no fault of the owners - more to do with the rural location. It means you do get to unwind and switch off from life which is rare in this day and age! These guys have genuine good reviews and I was not disappointed - book direct for better prices though

无热水，无空调，无吹风机，没有洗浴一次性用品，只有两小块有杂质的旧香皂，各种小动物，包括青蛙蟑螂，床单有不明液体痕迹，早餐丰富，没有水果，村里道路不好，这个价位不低，全程就是老奶奶服务，老头只次日早上收费的时候出现，在我用餐时不停劝我同意他取消订单，这样他可以不给booking付15%服务费，我觉得贪心且违规，使用booking那么多次，从来还没有房东提出这样的要求，我需要反馈真实评价，拒绝了
