Wonderful house with great views of Mission Bay and the Beaches. The beds were excellent, clean, and fresh. The kitchen had all the things you need to cook your own meals. We used the house to celebrate our family and it slept 8 adults plus 2 kids very comfortably. Thank you Carl for all and we hope to use it again next summer.

We had a great visit in San Diego this home is wonderful and met our expectations. Carl communicated quickly with any questions we had. We traveled with our adult children and spouses with a 16 month old. The house had everything we needed for the baby and each couple had their own space and bathroom which made it so nice for all of us. Amazing stay we hope to return.

This updated and well appointed home has everything you could possibly need inside and out. The views of the Ocean and Mission Bay are spectacular. Carl and Vicki were the most gracious hosts and so accommodating to our elderly grandparents who were traveling with the family to attend our son’s college graduation. We all had a lovely time in this luxurious and comfortable home. 5 stars all the way!

This was a fantastic plane to stay for 4 couples. Everyone had their own space and more. Great deck that we had coffee on every morning. It's a hike up the hill to get home from the beach but definitely walkable. Would absolutely stay here again!

The host and the house were as described and above expectations. It was perfect for all ages and had exactly what we needed for the entire family. It was so nice to not have to worry about having space and the necessary items for a home away from home (baby gate, pack n play, toy room, high chair)! The view is marvelous. Close to all activities that we planned for our stay. Super communication from the host. We could not have asked for a better home to spend this vacation at. We will forever remember this trip and look forward to returning and booking again.

Communications with the hosts were great right from booking. Carl responsed promptly to questions and was kind. The house is at the top of a hill above Ocean Beach. It’s a great work out to go down and back. The garage is packed full of things you might want for a beach outing. The house is clean and comfortable and great for families. Kitchen is great too and the game room was a hit.

This was our second stay at this lovely home. We used to live in the neighborhood and bring our family back every year. We've stayed at several great properties but this one tops our list! My mom was raised in OB and we wanted to bring her back for some nostalgia. Six adults and two children had an incredible 7 night stay. The house was very clean and had everything we needed while there. The garage was full stocked with beach items which was extremely helpful. The walk was steep, but very manageable to downtown (our party of 8 did it multiple times a day). The neighborhood was very quiet other than the overhead flights, which we quickly adjusted too. Carl was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions throughout the week. We hope to return again soon!

This house was a dream! We had a party of 8 kids/adults and enjoyed this home for our vacation. There was enough space for everyone, it was comfortable and kid friendly. The location was perfect and the neighborhood was lovely for walking. We planned to cook together for meals and then kitchen was well suited for this. The home was comfortable and clean. My kids gave it two thumbs up- they loved the bunk beds and game area downstairs, plus the beach supplies for our use. The owners were super nice and checked in throughout the trip. Highly recommend!!

This home was a wonderful location and experience for our family of 10 visiting to celebrate graduation from UCSD. The owner was attentive to all the details, even installing a baby gate at the stairs for the protection of our 3 year old granddaughter. The rooms were spacious with everything you needed and it was great to have the 3 bathrooms. We loved the kitchen and how well appointed it was all the equipment you could need and we cooked breakfast everyday there. It was also really nice that there was plenty of seating both for dining and relaxing. Of course, you can't leave a review of this place without commenting on the view over the ocean and Mission Bay, it's just beautiful! I will say that the airplane departure noise was a bit of nuisance (the departure path crosses overhead), but it doesn't run at night so it didn't disturb our sleep. The check-out procedures were super reasonable and made the wrap up on the last day just as easy as the rest of the stay. All-in-all a very lovely stay and I would definitely stay there again and recommend it without any hesitation!

Family trip of 3 generations. We enjoyed our stay immensely! The house is absolutely beautiful and very well appointed. Every time we went looking for (you name it), we would open a drawer or closet, and there it was. The decor was so tastefully done and very comfortable. We were very impressed with the kids' playroom that kept our 2 and 4 year olds occupied. We will definitely want to book again next time we visit San Diego!

We enjoyed such a great family trip at your beautiful property! The house was spacious, comfortable, and we felt right at home! It was great having the downstairs area for teenagers. The location was awesome. The beach, the zoo, downtown San Diego, Hotel Del, Sea World… all short rides away. Beautiful property exactly as described in the listing. The house was very clean and stocked with everything you could need. The kitchen had high end finishes and even tho we didn’t cook while we were there, it had everything we would need. The bedding was soft & comfy and each bathroom clean with nice towels and stocked with basic toiletries. We’ve stayed in several vrbo homes and this was our favorite. It had everything to keep us comfortable and although we didn’t have little ones with us - they provided many comforts for them too - sound machines & playpens, etc. Any group, any age would enjoy this space. The views from the deck were breathtaking and that’s where we spent most of our time. The nights were chilly but there was a fire table and heat lamp to keep us warm. It’s a short walk to the beach and many restaurants but the walk does have a few blocks that were very steep. It was too challenging for our elderly mother to walk but we could drive the few blocks and found parking without much trouble. Being at the top of that hill gave us spectacular views! We would definitely recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay again.

If this property is available for your dates book it don't miss out.My family 6 adults and 3 children ages 4 to 11all loved this property, it offered so much more than any place else that we have stayed in. The host has provided many games for both adults and children. The beds, linen, towels and kitchen appliances are all extremely high quality and all the hot water you need for a large group. Plenty of beach toys, both adult and child beach chairs, umbrellas, mats,and cooler. The host was accessible and helpful when we requested help planning where to go. We would definitly stay here again

My family of four, including two teenagers, had a marvelous stay at this gorgeous property. Each of our teens had their own bedroom AND bathroom. My wife and I enjoyed the ocean view from the master bedroom. The property appears to be newly remodeled - the fit and finish of the materials used is top notch. The kitchen is a joy to cook in especially with its high-end stainless steel appliances. The property was very clean and the host provided exceptional communication before and during our visit. I highly recommend this property.

The house was very spacious and well appointed for our family of 7 adults and one baby (17 months). We gathered there for Christmas from across the country. Perfect location. Beautiful views. Close to all the major attractions. The hosts were very gracious and provided a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations. The large kitchen had everything we needed to prepare family meals. We were in San Diego during a historic heatwave, and we were SO thankful that the house had AC -- or else it would have been miserable with 2 toddlers! The house is beautiful and very well equipped for families. Anything you would need in a kitchen, they have it. Additionally, they have cups, plates, and utensils for little ones. You can tell it's a grandparent's house because of all the little comforts for toddlers/kids - like a sound machine, high chair, toys & games, pack and play, beach toys and kid chairs, baby gate on top of the stairs etc. Carl was extremely responsive to all our questions. The views from the house are AMAZING. While hosing down our things outside (after our beach trip), I didn't mind the blazing heat at all, thanks to the beautiful view that kept me company. The house is on top of a hill though, so it's not really walkable to the beach if you're going with family and have things to tow. So you'll need to find parking near beach.

This is such a wonderful house! It was very clean & comfortable. The 4 bedrooms are spread out so everyone had their own space, and the large open living room & kitchen made hanging out together easy and comfortable. The view from the patio is gorgeous-- the perfect place to have some coffee (traditional pot & Keurig provided) while the kids are still thinking about waking up. We really appreciated all the extras provided-- sound machines, baby gate for stairs, etc, which made things more convenient. There were also some board books & toys for kids, and puzzles & games & books for older guests. Our group of 7 ranged in age from 1 to 70 years & everyone enjoyed their holiday & would choose to stay here again. Thank you so much to Carl & Viki for being such wonderful hosts!
