An Oasis in an unattractive area

The flat was large, had a washer, a full kitchen, air conditioning WiFi and parking. It has a balcony in front and back with the front balcony having chairs and a table. The bathroom was nice with toiletries provided by the owner.

The area is very ugly. Concrete block buildings surrounding it, sidewalks missing pavement every 20 ft, cat poop on the ground. Many buildings have empty store fronts giving the area and abandoned feeling. Loud traffic when we tried to enjoy the balcony. The included parking was very difficult even with our small rental car. We had to perform 5 to 9 point turns to either enter or leave the parking area. On the few times when we could find parking on the street we took that during our stay. The area didn't feel dangerous, like an inner city in the USA, but was not what I would choose for a vacation. The air conditioning is only in the bedroom, and didn't really reach the kitchen living area

The location was great. You have private parking in city center. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The host was very kind and friendly.

The parking place is very tight and when the neighbors park incorrectly, you can be stuck there.

Good location, central location but quiet street. Short walk to old town, near to bus station, and even a free private parking place was available (a bit tight though, so it is best to have a small car). Nassos was very helpful and responded quicly. Recommended!

A little gem in a beautiful City !

We spent a week here and had a fantastic stay. This is an amazing apartment only 5-10 minutes from the old town and beautiful harbour. A very clean apartment with all that is needed including coffee and washing powder supplies, etc. Nassos is a super host, very helpful and responsive. Thank you Nassos, we hope to return. Great place in Chania

Location was great for bus station (5mins walk) The flat was super clean and fresh. A well equipped kitchen, a clean and comfortable bed - firm but in a good way! We enjoyed our stay and the host Nassos, was very pleasant and helpful. We will be back.

The apartment is very nice, equipped with everything you need. Excellent location: 5 minutes from center, 15 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from the bus station. Nassos was a great homeowner, helped us find a car to rent and provided various information on restaurants, bus time and excursions to do. We had a wonderful holiday in Chania.

Highly recommend

This flat is a real find in Chania. With own parking in the city centre (loads of local shops around), secure and clean, bright and warm. Kitchen has all you need for cooking, good shower, supercomfy bed. Aircon if you’re hot or cold. The host was outstanding, helped with all the queries and met us on arrival. We had a great time, thank you.

Everything was perfect. Our host above went and beyond to make our stay perfect. Location was very convenient, 5 minutes walk from Bus station, 10 from the old town. Comfortable bed, fine AC, parking spot just outside the door!

A very good apartment close to the old town, so you can reach all the must see spots in a short walk. We appreciated the large balcony where you can have your morning coffee and the hospitality of the owner who waited for us with local wine and nibbles.

The host was so kind to wait for us to arrive. It was almost 10 p.m., the flight was delayed but he was waiting for us and met us in front of the building. He speaks excellent english and did not have any problems to understand each other. The flat is briliantly clean and a few minutes walk to the center of Chania.

Good location, quiet street but walking distance from the old town. Private parking, which is a real bonus in Chania. Comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. Hospitable owner.

There is no air conditioning in the living room and only light curtains. This did not really bother us, but it might be an issue if you plan on having people sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. The bedroom does have good air conditioning as well as shutters.

The host was very nice and gave us a lot of information about the apartment, the city and the surroundings. He waited for us with fresh coffee. We had a free parking place and also it was free parking on the street. The apartment is 5min walk to the turistic areas.

Comodo appartamento a Chania

Il proprietario disponibile e gentile, e ringrazio molto per averci fatto trovare due tappetini yoga/pilates nel nostro appartamento :) Ottima posizione dell'appartamento vicina al centro a meno di dieci minuti a piedi. Parcheggio macchina sotto casa. Carinissimo il terrazzo per poter fare colazione al mattino.

Per quanto riguarda l'appartamento in se, ho trovato scomodo solamente i cuscini per dormire ( un po' troppo alti) e la tendina della doccia. La pulizia delle scale del condominio inesistente. Purtroppo, per via dei lavori lungo la strada, la mattina si sentivano rumori già dalle 7:30.
