Celledon Rainbow Shores

The location in Rainbow Shores was quiet , very leafy and close to the beach. Lots of birds. The house never pretended to be five star but was clean, comfortable, had everything and felt like home. Good value.

We stayed in winter and found the external bathroom with fixed louvres on one wall was too well ventilated for the season.

Nice little cottage in the forest with a short work to the beach. I didn't mind the outdoor laundry/shower and toilet on the cleverly designed covered side deck.

The bed was comfortable but very low to the ground and the sunken bath/ shower is a classy idea but could be a problem for some people getting in and out.

The bed mattresses in each room were uncomfortable

Lovely surrounds, quiet street, tucked away. I enjoyed the outdoor bathtub, although it would be very cold in winter and is quite a small tub.

The beds were terrible. Sagging in the middle and one of them was propped up in the middle by a stack of old books. Lumpy, thin mattresses. Both beds were equally as uncomfortable. This unfortunately made the whole stay poor value. Ended up not having much sleep and sore back and muscles due to how uncomfortable beds were. This was particularly disappointing as online stated beds had new mattresses. They are far from new.
