Balcony and High-Ceiling with Garden Views

Very nice apartment in a very convenient location.

Positive overall

I was very satisfied with this apartment. It is spacious with high ceilings, very clean and well maintained, it is also very quiet as it does not face the street, very bright with large windows in both the living room and bedroom. Kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom is nice, large and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Greenwich is a great neighbourhood. Washington Square is nearby for a peaceful break and people watching. Union Square is only a few blocks away and has great food markets. The apartment is adequate and comfortable for a short stay. Kitchen is small but ok. We had four guests but it would be more comfortable with two. The representative of the host was polite, pleasant and generally responsive to our questions and resolved a few glitches in a reasonable timeframe. The bathroom has good hot water, the place was clean, but is in an old building that has had a low cost makeover. Apartments are in high demand in NYC so prices are high for what you get compared to other destinations. It was nice to have a balcony which is novel in the city. The air con pumps out quite an icy blast if it gets hot. Air circulation is not otherwise a notable feature of the apartment. Pre occupation communication from management was ok but we needed to chase them up somewhat. If you like things well organised and confirmed in advanced this relaxed approach may not suit you. VRBO however were very prompt in their replies to enquiries. This is a reasonable bolthole in NYC but really who wants to hang around the apartment when you are in NY?
