Bourton-on-the-Water is truly picturesque, with the River Windrush flowing between wide grassy banks spanned by five stone bridges, with typical Cotswold houses all around. Famed for its model village, motor museum and Birdland, Bourton is ideally situated for touring this area rich with scenic and historic attractions. Blenheim Palace, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Oxford and Cheltenham are all within a half-hour drive. An ideal base for walking holidays. Moreton-in-Marsh main line station is 8 miles. Shops and pubs 250 yards.
