Very comfortable, cosy and warm cottage. Everything you need is provided. View from the bench at the back is so relaxing. We loved the little beach and we walked along to the Oak Hill cafe and deli. A nice place to refresh with a cuppa and a lovely piece of cake. Great area for exploring lots of places to visit. Mull of Galloway lighthouse is highly recommended. Smoke house is just down the road, lots of goodies there. We loved the cottage and we had a warm welcome from Kate

Lovely cottage in a great location. Everything was provided for a cosy and comfortable stay. We had a very relaxed week and Kate couldn't have been more helpful if she'd tried. Decent weather was the icing on the cake as it made beach combing and bird watching a real delight. Enormous thanks.

We loved our stay in Shore cottage. Outstanding location right on the beach, yet right next to the A75 for easy access to local amenities and attractions. We didn't notice any traffic noise from in the cottage, and the sound of the waves and the curlews out the back was amazing. Cottage was clean and had everything you needed. Great efficient log burner for those chilly nights. Comfy sofas and the very helpful friendly owners only live 200yds down the road. My only slight cons would be the stairs are very steep and slightly treacherous, not suitable for those with mobility problems. Also the ceilings upstairs are quite low, but we didn't find this as much of a problem as it might have been. We would be happy to come back here again and again!

Gorgeous cottage in a very unique location. Very cosy and welcoming. Small gestures like biscuits on the table and milk in the fridge show an outstanding customer service. Beds are very comfy. Sitting outside watching the sea changing and the birds circling make for a very tranquil experience. Picturesque sunsets. Even the weather played along. Thank you very much for this experience. We will definitely book again.
