About this house rental
We love our house. We have been going to this house on the Cape for 35 years and would like to share it with you. Located on a quiet, shady, sand road. Great for relaxing, reading, listening to quiet music, playing croquet, picnicking, etc. When you do decide to venture out, there are lots of close options such as the National Seashore beaches, the bay beaches, the Massachusetts Audubon Society trails, the Cape Cod Rail Trail, hiking trails, shopping, miniature golf, the local drive-in movie, a Cape Cod Baseball game and lots more. Close to the regional high school and lower cape conference centers.
This single-story house has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, kitchen and a family room/dining area. The kitchen is fully-equipped and has a dishwasher. There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement. An outdoor shower and a detached garage are helpful additions. For hot summer days, the house has central air conditioning.
At the bay beach, a half mile away and a nice after-dinner walk, the sunsets are spectacular. Each one is unique and it's a treat to watch the sun set over the water. Also, if you are up early enough, you can drive or bike over to the National Seashore and watch the sun rise over the ocean and then head to the local coffee shop for your morning coffee.
Great for visiting therapy and education professionals attending Eastham summer symposia.

The night we arrived it was pouring rain and it was pitch black so couldn’t see the back door which was to be used to get into the house. Fortunately we stayed with a relative that night because we couldn’t get into the rental. Beth was kind enough to refund our first night’s stay. We greatly appreciated her kindness. We felt it was the perfect location for our weekend. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of space.

The property was very clean. Kitchen was updated and had all we required. A/C unit was noisy and kept coming on and off like it just wouldn't start. Had to turn it off at night. The area lost power our last night from 5-8pm and then again from 10pm to 8am. The power company Eversource in that area is not very good. Neighborhood was quiet. Those we talked to were very nice. Pretty good location overall.
