The cottage is in a tranquil picturesque location it is more spacious than it appears on the photos especially the conservatory ., it is peaceful and the garden area is quite large and enclosed and includes a gate at the back garden for a quick route to the large stunning beach, there are plenty places to walk from the doorstep , the Welsh coastal path is spectacular , and the small harbour which is 2 minutes walk downhill from the cottage has a comfortable sturdy bench which overlooks the sea which is great if you just want to watch the waves roll in and the occasional small fishing boats pass by and the numerous varied species of sea birds ,The cottage was well equipped , the owner was very friendly and helpful, a gardener mowed the grass while we were there which made the lawn tidy , the internet connection was good ,there are numerous good eating places within a 10 minute drive we went to aberdaron and ate at the Gwesty Ty Newydd hotel a few times which allows dogs and has an eating patio overlooking the lovely sandy beach Aberdaron offers a few small shops and ice cream parlours as well., we also went to Harlech to see the castle, which is interesting with magnificent views, overall a pleasant enjoyable place to stay and great value compared to other cottage locations which offer a sea view and close proximity to the beach

We loved this cottage.
We loved this cottage. Just a walk to the beach, which was nice and quiet. A lovely secluded little get away on the Llyn. I would definitely come back. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Great location beside beautiful beach, but walking limited to coastal path which is treacherous in places. The cottage is a bit basic with several maintenance issues but we enjoyed our stay, it was ideal for my sister's dog.

The cottage was a bit disappointing and very tired.
The cottage was a bit disappointing and very tired. The doors and windows were in a poor state and that made their operation difficult especially the back door. The floor in the bay window was in need of attention. The roof in the conservatory had been 'bodged' with gaffer tape and some of the glass had blown. The bed was tired and not at all comfortable. The property hadn't been very well cleaned especially the table tops. The crockery was adequate for two persons but not for six. Some was cracked and chipped. The WIFI worked provided one was next to the sender but was very slow. Although that sounds critical the cottage has a four star rating so expectation are quite high. The description on the welcome site was fairly accurate and the location very pleasant. With a bit of investment this could be a spectacular holiday venue.

Cottage is ok.
Cottage is ok.
Cottage is ok. Don’t rely on WiFi. It has WiFi but doesn’t work. Beds very uncomfortable. Conservatory lovely and spacious. Property says dog friendly but when we arrived there was a note saying they were not allowed in pretty much every room bar the conservatory so not really dog friendly. Not as near to the sea as the photo of private gate access would have you believe. It is across a large field and even then only down to a boat ramp. Beautiful beach though about a 20 min walk away.

Hafan cottage was great for the whole family .
Hafan cottage was great for the whole family .
Hafan cottage was great for the whole family . The layout meant children had plenty of space to play in the huge conservatory when it was raining .The secure garden meant dog and children could pop outside to play without having to worry about roads . The beach was fantastic and so close , they even found an octopus ! Perhaps the only downside was that when we got there there was no fuel for the fire even a starter basket and matches etc and it had been emptied of any salt , pepper etc and washing up liquid . If we had known we could have brought some , as the shops were quite a distance away and it meant getting back in the car again after a long journey.
