Numerous walks from the doorstep are available, whether it’s a short stroll to Rothay Park or Lake Windermere, or a more ambitious walk into the fells are all accessible without the need of a car.
Glenmore Cottage offers superb, comfortable accommodation for up to four guests with many modern facilities in a traditional setting. Fantastic communication from the start Location could not be better - literally just behind the town centre where the shops restaurants pubs are plentiful House was just PERFECT - spacious warm and inviting - beds like sleeping on clouds - quiet area kitchen had everything you need - Netflix provided on TV - games room downstairs in the cellar Went with partner and two adult sons for two nights and we had the best time - could have happily stayed there two weeksWould DEF recommend to everyone

A lovely cottage, has everything you could need and a really superb location. Parking is definitely a big plus in Ambleside. We will be back!
