Bedroom 3: Single (3ft) Bed. Oil central heating (£25per week November-March), electricity, bed linen and towels included. Initial fuel for wood burner included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, sitting-out area and garden furniture. Barbecue. Access to ½-acre paddock. Bike store. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 5 steps up to a short ramp and a fenced drop within the garden.. This delightful holiday cottage with fantastic views of Snowdonia is in a quiet corner of Anglesey. It’s close to picturesque Penmon Point from which there are super views of Puffin Island. From the cottage it is just a short distance to the Isle of Anglesey coastal footpath and the beach offers great sea fishing opportunities. Guests have access to a ½-acre paddock, which is great for exercising dogs. The sandy beach at Llanddona is three miles away as is the town of Beaumaris with its castle and pier. On the mainland, the Snowdonia National Park is within easy reach. Ideal for golf. Shop 1½ miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.

We had a lovely stay in Didfa. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped. Delyth was extremely helpful and generous throughout the whole week and easily contactable. The cottage was well placed for us to do sections of the Welsh Coastal Path. The outdoor hose was convenient for hosing off muddy boots! The Didfa cottage in Llangoed was an absolute delight from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners; they welcomed us with some traditional Welsh fare and a roaring fire, popped round to introduce themselves on our first evening and came to show us how to light the fire during our stay. The property was impeccably clean and all COVID-19 prevention measures were followed to the letter. Sometimes holiday accommodation is used merely as a base between trips out and about but our whole family was more than happy to spend time in the gorgeous cottage and garden. We hope to be able to return in warmer weather next time so we can appreciate the large garden to the fullest. The property itself is very well appointed and beautifully decorated. It truly felt like a home from home for us, and we feel sure that this first stay at Didfa won't be our last! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Pleasantly surprised with new decor and furniture. Lots of little comforting touches. Only negative was no signal on my mobile phone. My friend got signal on SKY mobile. This is the third year we have stayed at Didfa and once again we were not disappointed, a warm welcome, a very well equipped and very clean cottage and views to die for make this our favourite place to stay. If like us you appreciate the countryside and wildlife this is the ideal cottage for you, just the view across the Menai straits to the hills of Snowdonia in the morning makes waking up worthwhile. Whilst we stayed this year we had regular visits from a beautiful pair of Buzzards and during our afternoon cuppa in the garden we were entertained by their constant flying overhead. A truly lovely week and our first visit to Anglesey. A short drive north of Beaumaris and easy to find. The house itself was delightful, clean and well equipped. I could smell the fresh bed linen on walking in to the bedrooms (always a good sign)! There was plenty of space outdoors for the children to explore. We were so lucky with the weather and had a brilliant week, but if we had experienced some rainy days, staying at Didfa would have been fine with me! This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful cottage and I can honestly say for us it is the best we have ever stayed at. The cottage has everything it is clean and comfortable with wonderful views across the Menai Straights to Snowdonia beyond. Nice quiet roads to walk the dog and Beaumaris just 5 mins away by car with it’s independent shops, hotels/pubs and restaurants. Even a paddock to allow the dog to let off steam without leaving the property. The owners are so welcoming with some lovely touches and goodies on arrival. We love it here and before we left have booked our third visit next year, its just like being at home but better!

This was our fifth stay at Didfa and as always, we found it a lovely week where all our needs were thought of and the welcome was warm. The cottage is located away from the madding crowd where the loudest noise is from the local sheep. But in only a short drive you can be in Beaumaris, or any of the wonderful locations on Anglesey. We came home feeling totally recharged.

Loved this cottage. We had a log fire lit and waiting for us and on a cold day it was really appreciated. The cottage was very clean, exactly as the photographs show and our 2 and a half year old granddaughter said “it’s the bestest holiday house in the whole wide world” - from the mouths of babes as the saying goes. It’s peaceful and the countryside surrounding is lovely. We would definitely recommend this cottage and the landlady/landlord were most helpful. I would say that a car is essential to get out and about though unless you are seasoned walkers.

What a wonderful cottage! Lovely location close to Penmon beach and Beaumaris. The cottage was well equipped and furnished to a high standard. The bathrooms were enormous and everywhere was clean and fresh. The welcome gifts of wine chocolate milk and cake was lovely. Our dog particularly liked the garden and paddock for running around in. Owners live close by and called round on our first night to check all ok. Would definitely recommend staying here and we have booked again for next year.
