Welcome to Deep Creek Lake and enjoy your time at Lakeview Cottage - your home away from home ideal for family getaways, holiday celebrations, and so much more!
This A-frame style home has been remodeled to include updated kitchen and dining room, extra bedrooms, and a large downstairs game room. Outside, you can enjoy dinner or drinks on the deck overlooking the lake and then watch boats come and go while hanging at the fire pit or throwing horseshoes. Plus, both the fire pit and deck are perfect for watching the kids run across the common property to play in the beach area. Have a boat? The slip is just as close.
Inside, the large great room enjoy a wall of windows with great views of the lake - perfect location to enjoy all four seasons! Kitchen is highlighted by granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and well-equipped with everything you need. Plus, the dining area offers seating for twelve, so there is a spot for everyone to enjoy time together.
The main level primary suite is furnished with a queen bed. Enjoy the lake views and ensuite bathroom with a custom-built walk-in shower. Prefer the king bedroom? It’s upstairs with the adjoining balcony perfect for your morning coffee, while admiring the trees and sounds of nature. Upstairs has an additional bedroom with another queen bed and 2 twin beds that can also enjoy the balcony. The futon in the game room offers another private sleeping area. All bedrooms have TV if that is your style.
Need indoor adventures on a rainy day? Upstairs, the loft is great place to savor a little quiet time with a good book, enjoy views of the lake, or even do a little work by attaching to Wi-Fi. The lower-level game room is ideal for watching sports or a movie, playing pool or ping pong, putting together a puzzle… the uses are limitless.
When you're ready to explore, Deep Creek Lake offers year-round fun—from boating, paddleboarding, and hiking in the warmer months, to skiing and tubing at Wisp Resort in winter. Wonderful home with plenty of space for a group or extended family to find their own corners. Basement area was great for kiddos with the ping pong and pool table. The front lawn basically extends all the way to the lake…there’s a very lightly traveled neighborhood road in the middle but it’s very quiet. Lake access is great and so peaceful. We rented kayaks/paddleboards and were on the water most days. The house is in a quiet area, a bit far from the main spots in town. Charcoal grill on the porch and the fire pit made for some lovely evenings.

The property was ideal as we needed one bedroom and bath on main floor and two bedrooms and bath on upper floor. It was like having two houses. House had all the amenities we needed including tray for our dog's food and water. Neighbors were friendly. House overlooked the boat dock and we had access to a dock if we had a boat.

I booked this place hoping to spend time with my adult children, granddaughter, husband, and our dog. When we arrived the door code did not work. We had to call and it was quickly resolved. The first night we planned to watch the Ravens (our home team) play football. I was soooooo excited for this. We had no no internet or WFI and the message we received was that the bill was not paid. You've got to be kidding. When I called Taylor-Made back I was told the office was closed and nothing could be done that evening. Called first thing in the a.m. Friday - and I was told by a manager that the bill was paid - my daughter called since I was so upset over this was told that the bill had not been paid. It was late on Friday that we had service.
The pool table was in terrible condition and there was only 1 pool cue. Please don't advertise the pool table because it could not be used. The ping pong table would have been fun to play; however, the balls were dry rotted and broke when being played with. I replaced the broken balls from Walmart since some of the adults wanted to play. The location of the house is nice. The house needs some serious updates.
Taylor Made informed me that I would receive an email of a partial refund of not having the internet or WFI. I have not received the email.
I would like a refund of the ping pong balls I bought so we could at least use the table.
If you are renting your home - provide the ammenities promised.
